"my girlfriend and I had a really nice time at Madhu’s homestay. we came to experience the real wildlife and see some animals in their natural habitat. Therefore Bardia national park was the best choice! Madhu’s Resort is really a quiet, calm and green place to recover after our long mountain trek. The rooms are very clean, the bed is very comfortable and we had the opportunity to take a nice hot shower. we also did some yoga in his garden and just watched the sun goes down. the food was outstanding, with ingredients that grows in his garden. Madhu’s wife Anita is a very excellent cook. she always switched the dishes and asked us every day if we have special wishes. we did also some jungle walks and jeep safaris. Madhu and the Guide Ram are very experienced to find animals. Ram have perfect senses to detect noises and animal movements we never would recognize. he knows also very much about the animals and their behavior. overall we can 100% recommend this experience with Madhu, his nice family and Ram. We also want to come back in the future!"

"A quiet place near the entrance to Bardia Park, you can go on a hike or jeep tour and explore the wild jungle and wildlife. The staff is very helpful and the guide knows the jungle perfectly."

"Our short trip to Bardiya was much more than we expected. The stay at Rhino Lodge was wonderful. The ambience and food were great. The hotel staff were super friendly and welcoming. The highlight of the stay was the whole day jungle safari, which was surreal. Our guide was really enthusiastic and patient to show us in and around the jungle. The Tharu cultural dance and food was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends."

"Getting to this lovely setting up in the forest by the Bardia `National Park is well worth the effort. Our gude Krishna was great company and always found beautiful spots to view the fascinating wildlife. We saw a tiger pop its majestic head out of the underbrush, then slink away, a leopard at dusk, a wild elephant by a watering hole, hundreds of birds, graceful deer leaping across our path, crocodiles lazing on the riverbanks...so inspiring to see the harmony of nature. The staff are friendly, helpful and well-informed. We took the camping option and slept in tents overlooking the Karnali river and under a glowing moon. The campfire was cosy and the food simple but delicious. We had a wonderful time; it was my husband and son's third visit. We'd all happily return."

"I intended to stay for a few days in the Mango Tree Lodge but ended up staying two full weeks. Very nice people, always helpful and flexible. I did every day either a walking safari or jeep safari with them. Their guide is excellent, he is almost always the first to see a rhino, elephant or tiger coming out in the open. He also knows a lot about the birds in the park and recognizes many by the sound. Bardia is a beautiful park, and not very crowded."
