"Haiyang is truly an underestimated small city; it's uncrowded, peaceful, and super convenient to get around with shared electric scooters available right outside. The hotel is located right by the sea and has its own outdoor pool. The room had a large bathtub, which my child loved. Zheng Xiaoxun at the front desk provided exceptional service; she was very enthusiastic, helped us with our luggage upon arrival, and even assisted in pushing two beds together. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. Overall, the people here feel very genuine. The hotel itself generally feels good, though it's quite old, and the carpets definitely need a deep clean or replacement. The beaches in Haiyang are mostly deserted; sometimes you can even have an entire stretch of sand all to yourself, making for great photos."

The exterior was okay, but there were several hotel reception desks in the lobby. The lobby was unsanitary and smelled bad, especially the elevator, which was quite dilapidated. The room floor was covered in dust and footprints when I entered; I called housekeeping, and they just dry-mopped it and that was it. The good points are that the hotel is close to the beach, the rooms are spacious, the sea view rooms have nice views, and the price is reasonable."
