"The stay was pleasant. Breakfast was improved compared to last year. Even though the outdoor swimming pools were not opened yet, indoor swimming pool was good to use and Sauna was excellent too. The surrounding environment is very beautiful. All were good except the fact that it was hard to communicate with staffs. Most of staffs spoke only Japanese."

"The hotel is located near beautiful and clean Sesoko beach with marvellous sea abundant with great variety of fish. A perfect location for swimming and snorkeling. Sesoko beach and fantastic view thereof from our balcony has been a huge, but unfortunately the only advantage of the hotel. If you don’t rent a car, you have to be ready for the situation when you are unable to leave the hotel at all. It’s very hard to call a taxi either via Uber or even via local taxi app “Go”. The hotel staff does not provide too much help with this issue either, even when requested to book a taxi to the airport (to be fair hotel concierge finally managed to arrange a car for us, but it arrives 30 minutes late, despite our request being extended at least 12 hours before the planned departure). The hotel management is apparently aware of the transport inconvenience for their guests, but do not seem to care about that at all: they’ve chosen the easiest way “to cope” with the problem: just smile and say “sorry”. There’s another advantage of such approach for the hotel: if guests cannot leave the hotel easily, they wouldn’t have much lunch/dining choice other than having meals in the hotel. And here we come to another issue with the hotel: a very mediocre choice of dining options (no Japanese cuisine options at all) and extremely poor menu (with even poorer service) in the only available lunch venue. Breakfasts are below expectations as well: absolutely same food every morning (the only change from day to day: fried salmon/fried mackerel), no fresh fish/sea-food (we’re still in Japan, aren’t we?), almost no choice of fruits. Verdict: a very overrated hotel, pretty mediocre itself, but located beside the gorgeous sea."

"The hotel had a great location, in between Sesoko island and Motobu Genki Village. Several restaurants and izakayas were in walking proximity, as well as convenience stores and even a bakery. I was in luck and got an apartment on the top floor with a view facing the ocean. The hotel was clean and my room well equipped. There is a breakfast and lunch spot right next door, and there is also a vending machine for various drinks just outside. The manager and the staff were oh so helpful and polite. Good to know - after 20:00 the main entrance is shut, but guests can still access the building through a side door with their room key. Super positive experience!"

"We enjoyed it so much! The view from the room was beautiful. The room itself was spacious and had almost everything necessary. The breakfast was so diverse and delicious. They also have a free shuttle bus to the emerald beach and Chaurumi aquarium."

"We arrived very late on the night of September 8th and were so impressed with the front desk team. They were welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process seamless. Our room was spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. A huge thank you to the staff for making our stay so comfortable from the very first moment. Highly recommend!"

"Even though this hotel is quite old, the views are genuinely beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. My kids loved the breakfast. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I bring my elders to Okinawa in the future."

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and it's definitely one I'd recommend. However, it does have quite a few drawbacks. First off, the service is just okay. Some staff members are quite lazy and have a bad attitude – you have to ask them three times before they do anything. Also, when I was checking in, I had my hands full with bags and a suitcase, and they just stood there watching. They didn't offer any help at all, and then asked me to sign something. My phone was in a bag, so if they had just helped me with my luggage, I could have freed up a hand to sign. Secondly, the soundproofing is terrible. I could hear every word from the room next door as if they were speaking right beside me! Also, many people have mentioned that the rooms are too bright, and it's true. The lights from outside shine directly in at night, mainly because the curtains are too thin. On the positive side, the beach is beautiful, with some of the best sand in Onna Village. The hotel's outdoor public areas are also aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful plant and flower arrangements. Breakfast offers an average variety, but the taste is decent. There's a fishing port nearby, and as soon as you step out, you'll find tons of restaurants with plenty of delicious food. It's a top choice in Onna Village. If you're bothered by older properties, you might want to reconsider, as this hotel is over 50 years old. However, it's very well-maintained! Plus, the rooms don't have wall-to-wall carpeting, so there's less dust. Overall, it's my first choice for a stay in Onna Village. If you prioritize the room and interior design, you could choose the Hotel Monterey next door – its interiors are much better, but its beach is very average. Choose Hotel Monterey if you prioritize the room; choose here if you prioritize the beach."

Guest Tip: Ensure you are present at your balcony to embrace the magnificent sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon around 5:00 PM is a transformative experience that defines the beauty of this resort."

The toilet and shower are separate, making it very practical Check-in method: Scan the QR code on the tablet at the entrance, save a photo of the room password, pick up the key in the mailbox next to the tablet, enter the password in front of the room, and open the door with the key. I was so satisfied that I would have wanted to stay an extra night if I had more time. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Okinawa!"
