"Bad things: - This place is quite far away from city, 12mins driving distance to closest convenience shop - You must own a car to go there and the driving way to there are nearly no street light, very dark - The room quite small, it is nearly not possible to live for two people - Some inserts appear at night but really so clean inside the room, you just have to close your room door asap whenever you open at night Good things: - All the things are super new and clean - Quiet, and it is super comfortable to live in the forest with good facilities - Cozy bed, strong water and electricity supply Overall: I think this is a good place to stay if you do not mind to drive in a dark night. And super recommend someone who wanna taste living in forest with urban city living style (can charge your phone, watch tablet and take a good shower)"

"The structure of the hotel is old, but the rooms have been updated and were very comfortable and new. I absolutely loved the retro charm of the place and the common areas such as the atrium pool and inside courtyard area were beautiful spaces. What the marketing doesn’t show is the vast open spaces at this hotel, the stunning landscaped gardens and the art-spaces such as artist in residence and exhibition space. I was blown away by this and enjoy a fantastic painting workshop with the artist who focuses on the local flora and fauna of Okinawa. The best point about this hotel is the staff. They are all incredibly lovely. Lisa and another lady name starting with H on front desk especially were so amazing, very helpful! One night there was an error with our dinner and the chef personally came to apologise. He replaced our meal with a local menu which was incredible and after eating he said the bill was on him as a gesture of apology. I was truly touched by this gesture of kindness. Areas for improvement: the kitchen being closed outside of designated times. If you want food at 10am for example, no chance. Also nowhere to buy drinks near the pool and beach. Food options are not great and the buffet is really mediocre. Also, I would expect their approach to sustainability to be better on an island like this. There is an overuse of plastic, especially single use such as straws and each tiny piece of cake at the buffet being individually wrapped. Really no need for that. I do worry where all this plastic is going. Beach is smaller than it looks. Can’t swim, very shallow full of seaweed and dead coral. Very quiet. Very strict lifeguard: no throwing a ball, no jumping, splashing, laughing it seems. We were using an empty bottle to collect water and build a sandcastle -he removed it. No standing on inflatables. No swimming outside of the fenced off area. From what I’ve seen this is an island-wide thing though, not limited to here. Local area: really not much to see and do outside of the hotel."

"The white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch. The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay."

"Had a fantastic stay! The cabin was spotless and well-equipped with cutlery, a microwave, an induction cooktop, and even a 'black gold' stove (presumably a type of heating plate). This was incredibly convenient for late-night snacks if you wanted a relaxed evening. Communication with the management was excellent; our check-in was delayed due to travel plans, but they were very accommodating and we were still able to check in smoothly, which offered great flexibility for our trip. The included breakfast was like a typical Western-style home breakfast, but sometimes they had Japanese onigiri, which was a nice little treat to try. Since the cabin is a standalone unit, we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone, even when staying up late. This is a huge plus for families with kids or groups of friends traveling together."

"This hotel on Kouri Island offers beautiful views of Kouri Bridge. However, we arrived a bit late that day, and Google Maps directed us up a steep, short road which wasn't the best driving route; it's better to take the main road. The hotel has self-check-in tablets for different rows of rooms. Make sure to choose the correct one when checking in, otherwise you might get a 'booking code not found' message. This was quite startling, especially with no staff around late at night. I suggest that the check-in data be synchronized between both tablets, or at least a prompt should appear if you're using the wrong one. Otherwise, the environment and facilities are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Kouri Island."

"We stayed in a room with five people and had two double beds and a sofa bed. The room wasn't big, but it was fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. You can buy laundry detergent at the capsule machine on the first floor. The TV was a smart TV, which was very convenient. Parking is 1,000 yen if you drive there. It's very close to Churaumi, about a 10-minute drive away. 88 Steakhouse and a supermarket are within walking distance. The owner was very friendly. Overall, the value for money was high. The refrigerator in the room didn't work, but it didn't affect anything."

"The hotel has a minimalist design. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room, and the water was beautiful on a good day. There are two small, enclosed beaches, but the sea was still quite cold in May. The two pools close early and apparently won't be open late until September. There are a few massage hot spring pools which are quite comfortable. For breakfast, sometimes you have to get a number and wait for a table. The French toast with cream and jam was super delicious, the bread was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pudding bread was also good. Overall, the desserts and bread were outstanding. The dishes varied daily. On the first day, there was freshly grilled steak, and the bitter melon scrambled eggs were very tasty. On the second day, there was Agu pork hotpot."

"When you leave the hotel, it's like a private beach. The view is amazing. However, the facilities are not that great. The toilet doesn't have a washlet. The shower is the type that sprays water. The pressure is weak and it doesn't feel like you're washing properly. On top of that, the curtain in the unit bath was broken and came off. It was fixed the next day, but I was pretty tired after taking a bath. It was a cheap hotel with a nice view, but I realized that facilities are quite important during my solo trip."

"I lived in a multi-person dormitory for boys two days ago. The privacy was average, there was no curtain, and other tenants moved around quite affecting sleep. The last night, the single room was set, the price was not much different from the male dormitory, the single room cost-effective explosion, and the room was spacious enough. The hotel facilities are very carefully maintained. Several front desk sisters are nice. I want to come to their home next time with my husband. The surrounding is very convenient, with transportation, restaurants and supermarkets. Quiet and peaceful seaside town, Motobu, there are many stars at night."

"The location is very good. We took the children to the nearby botanical garden for almost an hour, and then went to the aquarium. We were walking for half a day. The air was very good and the sun was very good. It was also an exercise for the children's bodies. We also turned a few times in the countryside. I bought vegetables to cook by myself. The tableware is very complete. There are also many food microwave ovens in the nearby supermarkets to heat up. The outdoor stone bath is also very comfortable. The tatami children sleep well. I highly recommend it!"
