"The hotel grounds are huge and very beautiful. I booked a twin room, but the empty space wasn't very large. I had to push the two beds together to make enough room to open my suitcase. However, the room facilities were very comprehensive: a large balcony with two chairs and a table. The bathroom was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. The hotel shop sells diapers, so if you're traveling with a baby, you don't need to go out to buy them. I particularly want to praise the sea area; the water was shallow in the afternoon, and I swam around within the safe zone, encountering six different types of fish, which was fantastic. The hotel has many steps, but also plenty of ramps and elevators, making it suitable for strollers. Beach loungers are paid for by the full day or afternoon; there's no option for just the morning. The laundry room was a letdown, though. While there were many washing machines and dryers, they were quite old, and about a quarter of them were out of order. Date of stay: 2026.05.23"

"Bad things: - This place is quite far away from city, 12mins driving distance to closest convenience shop - You must own a car to go there and the driving way to there are nearly no street light, very dark - The room quite small, it is nearly not possible to live for two people - Some inserts appear at night but really so clean inside the room, you just have to close your room door asap whenever you open at night Good things: - All the things are super new and clean - Quiet, and it is super comfortable to live in the forest with good facilities - Cozy bed, strong water and electricity supply Overall: I think this is a good place to stay if you do not mind to drive in a dark night. And super recommend someone who wanna taste living in forest with urban city living style (can charge your phone, watch tablet and take a good shower)"

"It takes about an hour and a half from Naha, but it's a little uneasy until you get to the mountains. (laughter) Right next to the building is the owner and his wife and two Wan Chang live there. Both of you are very friendly and kind. Wan Chang is also a friendly two who love to be stroked. We received the service of Tsukimocha and pudding. I think it is possible to stay up to 4 people in the room when arriving at the loft, but there are not many places to spread the luggage. In addition to microwave oven, kettle pot, some plates, coffee and tea are available. You can't cook. You can rent a barbecue stove, but you can't do it on rainy days. The surroundings are literally nature and pitch black at night. It takes two or three minutes to reach the nearest convenience store, so please prepare food and drink in advance. I can hear insects and birds all the time around. When you drive, park in front of a wooden table with umbrellas. It's a thick and narrow road, but on the way back, you can go straight to the road. We recommend taking a walk around in the morning. Ishiyama Observatory is also within walking distance. There was no radio wave of au at all, but there is free Wi-Fi so it's okay to use it. The customer is １ One group a day, so there was no problem with the connection."

"The hotel is very large, and the self-check-in is very convenient. The room facilities are perfect for families with children. I highly recommend staying here. There's a delicious izakaya (Japanese pub) nearby."

"The white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch. The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay."

"We had spent 4 nights at the hotel during the Golden Week which might have influenced the perception of service, but not dramatically. Among the advantages of the hotel are: nice spacious rooms (ours had a stunning sea view); generally good location with beautiful nature and access to the beaches where you could actually swim (not a given on the island) - at least until the tide goes too low; reasonably good food across the restaurants with rather friendly prices; stylish bar with quality drinks. Among the disadvantages are: very non-Japanese service (generally not very helpful, with low penetration of English among the staff) and lack of attention to detail that could make the resort actually very nice - again, not very typical case for Japan. A few pieces of advice to the management: 1. Bring the option of in-room breakfast. If a guest is sick and can’t go down, it’s impossible to order in-room breakfast on the day, while rooms service opens at 11:30. Same frustration goes to the coffee stall downstairs that doesn’t serve coffee during earlier breakfast hours 2. Consider equipping rooms with coffee machines and contemporary electronics - low costs to take, yet massive disadvantage for the 5* status for not having them 3. Pay more attention to room service: we spent 48h without shampoo and shower gel. Our glasses were washed occasionally. New bottles of drinking water arrived only once. 4. Fix the beach! The amenities there look like a poor community beach area, especially those shameful umbrellas. You have reasonable amenities at the pool - why not spreading them to the beach areas to make them feel more like a resort rather than public beaches that no one gave any care? 5. Gym and SPA amenities could use a bit of refreshment. I won’t mention SPA service itself which might be a result of poor luck with the specific technician 6. Empty mini bar equals lost revenue. You could easily cover the modifications above through adding more options for people to enjoy drinks at their balconies. What makes staying in Japan truly special - genuine care and attention to every detail - was completely missing over our stay at this Hyatt. In fact, we consistently had that feeling “this could actually be really nice” and then something would go terribly wrong with the awkward service. The hotel that looks like 5* on pictures leaves a 3* aftertaste at max. I am only writing this because I felt it didn’t have to - those are easy aspects to fix."

"The map navigated us to another building of the B&B, but it did state that the actual office was 700 meters further. It might be a bit hard to find if it were dark, but luckily we arrived in the early evening. The standalone cottage for two felt a bit too big for us! 😹 But the B&B was very thoughtful; it had all the pots, pans, and cutlery. There were even fireworks in the living room (for an extra charge if used). The kitchen also had salt and oil, which was a nice touch. Upstairs, there was a tatami common area; it felt like you could fit several people if you just put down some mattresses. The only downside is probably having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and I was a bit worried about falling. 🤭"

"It is the whole house. Although the check-in time is very short, the service staff will stick it at the door to passengers who can't arrive before 19:00. The house is full, whether it is dumpling pot microwave oven kettle, etc., you can go to the nearby hypermarket to buy ingredients and cook them yourself. It is also very close to the beautiful aquarium. It is really recommended if you drive by yourself!"

"When you leave the hotel, it's like a private beach. The view is amazing. However, the facilities are not that great. The toilet doesn't have a washlet. The shower is the type that sprays water. The pressure is weak and it doesn't feel like you're washing properly. On top of that, the curtain in the unit bath was broken and came off. It was fixed the next day, but I was pretty tired after taking a bath. It was a cheap hotel with a nice view, but I realized that facilities are quite important during my solo trip."
