Los Cabos Beach Hotels

"We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Tesoro. Our room was clean and well-equipped. The location right on the Marina is perfect; it's a beautiful setting with lovely views, and it's very convenient for walking around and enjoying the area. The service at the restaurants was quick and efficient and all staff were friendly and kind. We really enjoyed the rooftop area for relaxation as the pool is beautiful with plenty of seating and excellent bar service. We had the breakfast plan and the buffet at the Vista was plentiful with lots of variety; we also had lunch at the Vista a couple of times, and the food was excellent with fair pricing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Tesoro again."

"Not a 5 star resort. That's not saying it's not a nice resort, because it is, but 5 star resorts have top notch service. First ding, they don't pick you up at the airport, but you can have them set up transportation for you (at your added expense). The Taxi is $75 each way (I checked Uber and it was $55 and the taxi dude matched that price). We were able to catch a travel van on the way there from the airport for $17 a person. We had an ”executive suite” which was nice, not their best room but probably in the middle. They never changed the bed sheets in the entire 5 day/4 night stay. They made the bed, but never changed the sheets. They have a well stocked fridge and other goodies for a steep price. The problem is moving their crap out if you actually want to use the refrigerator. We were charged ”additional taxes” when we checked out as well. Only like $2-3 a day, but these should have been included in the price. The on-site sushi restaurant was not a good value. They charged us for items we didn't order and watch out for the $4.50 water. Our bill was $200 plus tip for two adults. Each had two margaritas, one appetizer (we had cancled after we told the waiter and he acknowledged, but came anyways) and two entrees. Portions were small, so definitely no ”leftovers”. The good. The included breakfast is excellent. Take advantage of that, eat a late breakfast (breakfast is over at noon, so be there no later than 11am) and that should tide you over until dinner. The location is great. Close to the marina/downtown but just far enough way that it's an easy walk and you stay out of that busyness. Overall, it's a nice 4 star (at best) resort. "

"There was a problem with the flight; in Istanbul, I and about 60 passengers were not allowed on the flight, although we were checking in. I contacted the hotel and asked for a refund, although the amount was not refundable, THANK YOU for meeting me and changing the dates. Thanks to all TRIP.COM managers and hotel staff. My arrival is 18/09. Wait))"

"This is an interesting resort. The location is a fair bit off the main road making it really peaceful. The resort is built on a cliff which means multiple levels of building. The pool was ok but needs a bit of renovation. You can’t swim in the ocean as there are many rocks and hence dangerous. It’s good for couple of nights but personally I wouldn’t want to stay more than that. Like all the resorts in the area everything is pricey and they have a captive audience!"

"The hotel has gorgeous views as it overlooks Cabo and the marina. The rooms are in need of an update as they are not in the best overall condition. The staff is a mix of very pleasant, kind, service oriented people to downright rude people who have been seen to roll their eyes at guests. The food was good, although some restaurants are better than others. The Agave restaurant was the better of them all and we went for lunches and dinners. The cupcake shop was very nice with a selection of coffee, pastries and cupcakes (although not always fresh). But kudos to Marlen who made the best coffees, thank you!"

"Our stay at Corazon Cabo was more of a nightmare than a dream vacation, so much so that we ended up cutting our trip short. The hotel’s tasteful decor and prime location initially seemed to promise an idyllic stay. However, the reality turned out to be quite different, and not in a good way. We were subjected to an intense, incessant push for a timeshare presentation, which felt more like a scam than a genuine opportunity. Despite declining on numerous occasions (well into double digits), the sales pressure from the hotel staff was relentlessly intrusive, turning our supposed relaxing getaway into a stressful experience. The deception didn’t stop there. When we tried to book an activity through the hotel, we discovered that they attempted to charge a higher price than listed, and once again, tried to rope us into their timeshare program. These unscrupulous practices left us questioning the hotel’s business integrity. Further dampening our experience was the hotel’s decision to turn off the AC in the common areas during periods of low occupancy. This cost-cutting measure, carried out without consideration for guest comfort on sweltering hot days, was a glaring indication of the hotel’s disregard for guest experience. Room comfort was another area where Corazon Cabo failed to meet expectations. Despite the visual appeal of the room, we were plagued with a leaky shower that led to a persistently damp bathroom floor - an inconvenience that felt even more egregious given the high per-night cost of the room. Given the host of disappointments we experienced at Corazon Cabo, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short and change our flight to head home a day early. This was an unfortunate conclusion to a vacation that had promised so much. In summary, while Corazon Cabo might lure in guests with its attractive facade and desirable location, our stay was marred by persistent, high-pressure sales tactics, questionable business ethics, and a disregard for guest comfort. Until these serious issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend prospective visitors to look elsewhere for their stay in Cabo."

"The location is very good, the best value for money. It is with a group of high-end hotels, but the price is much higher than other hotels, and of course the room and hotel facilities are not comparable. As an old hotel, the hardware facilities are much worse, but it is spacious everywhere, with a private beach, and the experience is not much worse than the next door, and the price is less than a quarter of the next door. It can be all-inclusive or not, and the price of meals is also reasonable (average US$20 per meal) It is a good choice for families who are not for Internet celebrity check-ins or have exquisite life requirements."

"Just remember, on top of what we are paying for the stay with trip.com, we still have to pay for more charges during check out at the resort. Well it is a vacation club anyway so extra charges on daily basis would be $40USD resort fee, $8USD service fee and $38 USD Cabo Environment fee. Parking is valet system and the resort is gated.  I think it was worth it for a couple of days for us. There are several pools, fire pit and access to a private beach. On some days, beaches along Cabo especially with open sea are not swim-able due to strong waves. We were able to swim in the ocean here due to its location, a mini bay that kind of protected by cliffs.  A beautiful property indeed with the arch view from a corner of the property near the ocean."

"Really lovely hotel. Pay for a room and get a full apartment. Perfect for families with kids. Comes with little kitchenette. Close to a beach. All apartments come with view of the Arc. Sunrise and sunset views are amazing from your balcony. Pools are lovely. Nice quiet area. Would 100% recommend and stay again. Would suggest renting a car to get around the area."

"This place is my go to because the owners/investors are present and on top of things and want the place to have a high end esthetic and energy, like with the menu and live music. I get the impression there are always enough people to staff the place efficiently and the beach club has been a huge benefit. The only thing I’ve noticed is the workers love to pass the buck or ignore thats you're waiting. For service. there is no way for the managers know unless they really listen to how the interactions are going. I hope they do this sooner than later. It’s seems amusing to the staffers but is painful as a patron to have to negotiate every time you have a need. Some of the employees are great though. They just do all the work for the people that pass the buck"
