"It was our first time at The Golden Nugget. We were disappointed in the signage directions—we had to search on our own for the hotel check-in counter. Even though it was evening there were no staff on the floor to help and only one security guard was noted. We were celebrating our anniversary and were especially looking forward to the buffet meal only to find out it had been closed for sometime—even though it is advertised on your website. Another let-down was no slot machines available. Our hotel room was nice but overall the trip was disappointing!"

"Ok hotel, a little pricey, good area around lots of restaurants, had a mouse problem, called the front desk, the attendant did offer a full refund but we declined because it was a Holliday weekend and all hotels were booked but he did give us some money off. Key card stopped working when we got out of the pool so we had to up front to get our cards rekeyed."

"Service was fine. Thought we booked a room at a ****** instead we got a family hotel. Looking for a romantic holiday instead I got kids running up and down the hall, loud music being played outside, and generally a lot of noise.
We got a handicap room though we’re not handicapped. The bed was uncomfortable and no blanket on the bed. The a/c blew in our faces all night and both of us woke up with sniffles.
We used no part of the facilities. We went next door to ****** and went to dinner at an outside restaurant.
Left early the next morning and ate breakfast elsewhere.
Overall a very bad experience!"

"Stayed here a couple of nights. The location is good and easy to get to. The room was good. Nothing spectacular. I never stayed at a ****** before and was unimpressed with that aspect. Just not my thing. Overall I felt the hotel was good, needed renovation and just not worth the price. "

"Somewhat disappointed. We understood that the check in time was at 4pm. However , upon arrival, our room was not ready and we had to wait over an hour for our room. There were a lot of us waiting. Somehow they did not have enough housekeeping staff to clean the rooms that were obviously vacated at 11am as I understood, that was the check out time. As we finally got our room at the 5th floor, we came upon multiple available rooms that were available that needed cleaning. We presumed they needed cleaning because the doors were left open. We actually took a peek inside. I should say, I should give them credit. They gave us free dinner or breakfast. We really were not able to take advantage of the dinner offer since after checking into our room, we rushed to gamble at Beau Rivage. Our breakfast actually came with our booking."

Amazing
GGuest UserWhen we arrived we proceeded to stand in line behind the ONLY other person in the check in line and that was also standing behind the lady checking in, in front of the ONLY person sitting at the check in desk. After a few minutes another man walked up behind us. The lady in front of us was called to the desk and then another lady walked up into the entrance on the other side of us. I was next but instead of calling me up she asked if I was VIP. I wasn't so she told me that I was in the VIP line and had to wait until the lady that had JUST walked up was finished before she could take me..... WAIT - WHAT??? There were NO SIGNS stating this line is for the people who are more important, the guy behind us even asked where was the sign stating that this was a VIP line. We asked for a manager, but she also dismissed the situation and said that she knows that the lines are not marked (so somehow we are supposed to know) and she was SORRY that it was a mix up. All of a sudden it was important that there be more than 1 person sitting at the desk. Neither of the two photos say VIP.
GGuest UserWe felt like the room was our personal condo and the staff was property management taking care of us like we were a permanent tenants. And the price of a 1,300 sq ft 2-bed 2-bath with balcony and floor to ceiling windows with ocean view was about the same as economy-size rooms I had gotten the same month on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and in Panama City Beach. If you want a quiet and very comfortable stay in Biloxi, you’ll want to be at the South beach Biloxi Hotel & Suites.
GGuest UserMy wife and I spent 4 days in Perdido Key Fl on the beach for vacation. Then, on to Biloxi for a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert Saturday night. We booked a room through Trip.com prior to arrival. We had a nice drive from Perdido Key and were quite surprised at the beauty of the beaches of Biloxi. When we pulled up to the hotel, pleasantly surprised at the condition of the Hampton Inn. The pool is great, plenty of shaded parking, very clean and up to date. The staff was great and even let us check in a bit early with an upgraded room with a view of the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. Elevators were quick. Slept great. Breakfast was really good and, again, all staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if revisit Biloxi.
BBankheadStaff was nice. Great location. The bed was not comfortable. It was hard and the hallways smelled like smoke but it was a smoke free building😒. Not sure if we will be staying here again.
LLisaWe never previously stayed at a LaQuinta and I can assure you we never will again!!! We were lied to about the room by the front desk person who got off at 3 p.m. The first room we were in, that the front desk person lied about and moved us to, appeared to have water coming up through the floor. When we entered the room water was puddles under the bed and around two sides of it. We cleaned it up except for the part to show the water was clear and not a mess made by our dog. When we tried to call the front desk, the room phone did not work at all not even a dial tone. While waiting for the front desk to change our room, we flushed the toilet and it was like a floodgate of water started appearing from the floor.
Getting back to the front desk girl lying to us. I told her that I cannot physically climb stairs because she was telling me i would have to climb 3 flights of stairs dur to problems with the elevator. We were told that though the room would be a queen bed, instead of a king, it was not as far to walk as the elevator and it was a drive up room. Well, let me tell you, we passed the elevator on the way to the room and it was all the way to the end of the hallway. Also, from the after 3 p.m. desk clerk, who straightened out the first desk clerk's mess and who did not lie to us, we found out this LaQuinta has NO drive up rooms!!!
I has prepaid our room with no mention of a fee for our dog. So, in addition, this dishonest front deskperson charges us a $25 fee for our dog.
When we checked out today, my husband asked for a receipt and the dishonest front desk person told him it would be emailed to us. Honestly, at this point we do not trust that our credit card information is secure and has not been lifted. Given all of this, we will NEVER stay at any LaQuinta again and will actively discourage our friends and family from staying in any LaQuinta.
GGuest UserThe inn was in a great location, the room was clean. It was quiet. There was a time they turned the water off without telling the guest but didn’t stay off long. Overall great stay!!
MMari G GThe room is very outdated but you get what you pay for. The toilet was not set correctly and rocked anytime it was used. Eventually leaked when flushed. I let the front desk know. There was a man talking to the front desk and said to them this was the second toilet that had similar issues.
