Palawan Beach Hotels

"The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. There are 2 swimming pools available which is great. Restaurant’s food is amazing too! However, it seemed like the hotel was understaffed. We arrived around 11:30am, but since the check-in is strictly at 2pm, we went for lunch at the restaurant first. However, when we came back at 2pm, they made us wait for another 30mins because there was only 1 receptionist and it took her a long time to process the family ahead of us. Housekeeping also came late even if we put up the “makeup room” sign before we left for our tour. When we came back at 4pm, our room was still untouched, and the housekeeping only arrived at 5:30pm. Soundproofing was also not as good. We could hear our neighbor upstairs moving the furniture at 4am."

"Service was terrible, felt like people were avoiding me, restaurant was decent with decent food but you have to signal to get the menu, make the order. I waited solid 50minutes to get my food and a corona (drink came after food). Appetizer and main course came at the same time. Facilites were nice, pool was good with a decent sofa or seating to relax. Unfortunately while I stayed there there was a lot of rain and wind (stayed for 4 nights) and electricity went out many times everyday, which turned off the wifi and the ac, at night lights were flickering because of the electricity issues. Sandbar was also closed everyday during my stay and the beach was not that great. I payed way too much for what I received and I will not recommend this place for anyone."

"Went here for a quick getaway with colleagues. We really enjoyed our stay here. So relaxing the view is great and the place is clean and quiet away from the busy city. Only con is that public transportation is not available. You can ask for the hotel reception to contact a van though or better yet avail their free shuttle. Highly recommended!"

"We recently stayed at this resort hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the amenities—from the pool to the common areas—were impressive and well-maintained. However, we were quite disappointed to return to our room after housekeeping had been in, only to find the door left open. This raised serious concerns about security and left us feeling uneasy. Thankfully, nothing was missing, but it’s something management should seriously look into. Also, while the breakfast buffet was decent, the variety was limited. For a resort of this caliber, we expected more options to choose from. In summary, it’s a nice place with great staff and facilities, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to security and food offerings."

"The toilet is very old and had no water pressure. The food in their restaurant is expensive and not very abundant. The decorative figures are too much, too many wooden animals statues, but okay, it’s 15 minutes away from the airport and we only stayed a night. The staff is very kind."

Early Check-in: Since we were traveling with a 1-year-old, we were really grateful when the resort allowed us to check in early, around 9 am. The food was not only delicious, but the staff was incredibly accommodating to our dietary preferences. Her professionalism and helpful attitude made a huge difference in our experience. 6. Spacious & Beautiful Room: Our room was perfect! It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch, and it truly felt like a luxury escape. 7. Incredible Amenities: The resort offers so many fantastic amenities! We had the choice of three swimming pools, including a stunning infinity pool that overlooks the gorgeous views. The water park was a big hit with our son, who had an absolute blast. There’s also a massage center, which was wonderfully relaxing, and a lovely canopy area for tour inquiries and bookings. Whether you’re into golf, relaxing by the beach, or enjoying a delicious dinner by the water, there’s something for everyone here. 8. Dinner with Fire Dance: Dining at the resort’s beachfront restaurant was a magical experience. Not only did we enjoy fantastic meals, but we were also treated to a mesmerizing fire dance performance as we dined. It added such a special touch to the evening. 9. Fantastic Staff: Throughout our stay, the staff went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. Kent, Arvin, and Susan, especially, were always so humble, kind, and smiling, even when we had late-night requests for dinner or drinks. Their hospitality truly made us feel like family. 10. Overall Experience: We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. The resort’s incredible service, beautiful facilities, and welcoming staff made this one of the best trips we’ve ever had. "We stayed at Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa for just one night, booking five rooms for a quick family staycation. At first, we were a bit skeptical due to some mixed reviews online, but we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with shell necklaces, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The rooms were spacious and clean, giving us plenty of space to relax. The kids especially enjoyed the pool—while it’s not very large, it was more than enough for them to have fun. The beachfront is beautiful—perfect for photo ops and water activities, though perhaps not ideal for swimming. Still, it adds a charming touch to the resort’s peaceful ambiance. A few areas could use some improvement: • The TVs are a bit outdated—an upgrade to smart TVs would enhance the guest experience. • The window-type air conditioners, while functional, can be a bit noisy. • Some furniture and room details could benefit from light touch-ups to maintain a fresher look. As for the restaurant (operated by a concessioner), the breakfast was decent—nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa exceeded our expectations. It’s a great spot for a relaxing and affordable getaway, and with a few upgrades, it could be even better. Would definitely consider staying again!"

"Blue Waters Inn was great! Friendly staff, great location, clean and comfortable rooms. There is a laundry spot just up the road. Towels are provided and beach towels are available to rent at the front desk. You can book your boat tours and ferry tickets there too. I had an amazing stay, and I’ll definitely book here again."
