Clearwater Beach Hotels

"While researching hotels, I visited this property a month before my arrival to make sure the accommodation would work for my purposes. At that time, I was shown a specific layout for the 1 bedroom queen beds configuration. The front desk attendant specified the description of the room that I should book when I made the reservation. I made the reservation based on their information and the room I was shown. A month later when I check in, I am given a room half the size of the one I was shown. I tell the front desk that it was not what I was told and I am unhappy with the room and I need the bigger room. The gas let me and told me that they had already given me the biggest room they had. I'm not kidding when it was literally half the size of the one I previewed. I walked the front desk attendance to the door of the room I was shown and was assured that those rooms are the same size and they couldn't be shown to me at that time because they were occupied. I had to cancel most of the event I had planned due to lack of space and lost revenue I would have earned giving a workshop to paying pupils. Complete bait and switch. Avoid this property."

"The location is excellent, it is next to two good hotels, the pool is divine, it has an exceptional view and although they close it at sunset, if you wish, you can go to the hotel next door, which is the Holiday, the rooftop bar is very nice and the shepard which is the other hotel has a night club and a good nightlife."

"Great spot, very Friendly place."

"Very good cleaning, very good service and very attentive and formal employees. I would return with pleasure."

"We stayed 2 nights at the Wyndham in Clearwater Beach and had a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better—right across from the beach and just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the pier. Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful ocean view. The staff was friendly and always willing to help, from the front desk to housekeeping. The common areas, especially the pool and bar, were well maintained and had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty and offered good variety. What we enjoyed the most was the convenience of walking straight to the beach and being able to return to the hotel easily to relax. Overall, it’s an excellent choice to both unwind and enjoy everything Clearwater has to offer. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again"

"The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are relatively large. The facilities and equipment in the building were old. The hotel rooms were cleaned very late. In the late afternoon, I wanted to take a rest but had to clean the room, so I saved it later and took some towels. Overall the price / performance ratio is average."

"The hotel is generally good. The front is a seaside. But you can't swim in the sea. The surrounding area is not prosperous. Go to the shopping center. You must drive at the seaside. We upgrade to the suite for free. The parking space is generous. Breakfast is OK."

"Everything was great. Perfect location. Within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants"

"So pleased with service the moment we pulled up. We were greeted with most respectful parking attendants, and we had plenty of time to checkin and gather all belongings. Hotel provided excellent breakfast selection, beautiful pool, fitness center, as well as a fun engaging shuttle ride to their closest drop off location. On our trip, thanks to our wonderful parking attendants we were able to meet, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart!!! How bad ass vacation is that! We are forever grateful. Now, for one unpleasant experience…. On our last night stay, we did experience a not so polite front desk associate. Our party wanted to utilize beautiful balcony area to play cards and laugh but there was a sign, stating bad weather patio was closed. We were bummed but made arrangements to sit inside lobby area instead. We also asked if we could have new top cover blankets for our room, coming back from the beach sand got all over them. We were told it would be a very long time before we would receive them, all blankets were locked up, and housekeeping was already gone. We stated no problem!! One of our party members got a little chilly inside lobby area, so we asked if we could have a small blanket to use. Associate handed us a small blanket to use so we could continue playing cards in lobby. We looked up weather conditions and storm had moved past, so we informed front desk associate storm moved passed, if we could use outside balcony. Extremely frustrated with us, front desk associate ripped signage off, unlocked door, and told us all mosquitoes were outside!! ***??? Next morning checking out, we informed hotel manager Laura one of her associates was unpleasant and rude last night. Ms. Laura apologized on behalf of her associate and informed us she would be speaking and addressing her behavior directly. Thanks again, Fairfield Marriott for the wonderful stay, parking attendants were so wonderful and polite!! Thank you!"
