"Absolutely not a place for anyone concerned with safety. Would work best for a burly working crew in town or someone traveling with a large, trained guard dog. On the night I tried to stay there I didn’t feel safe enough to leave my car to check in—only ten to fifteen feet away. I sat there for about 30 minutes waiting for the random, suspicious people to clear away from the check-in window and office but that didn’t happen and it seemed like it may actually be the norm. I ultimately booked another property nearby (for double the price) and left because I really needed to lay down after a hospital stay. The hotel rejected my request for a refund of $54 so I will have to let my credit card handle it."
