"My room washroom encounter the stinky smells on the 1st night, very unfortunate the phone inside the room also out of order too. I’ve to close the door properly before sleep yet still have unpleasant smells in the room. I’ve told the night shift front desk officer about it, however he seems don’t understood and didn’t get the issue settle. Hence, I’ve requested to upgrade on the next day to the day time front desk officer, Herman if the issue can’t be solved. However, it’s fully booked, so I felt upset and helpless. Therefore, I’ve stressed to him I’m unable to give good rating in this case and get him to my room and experience it. He immediately understood the issue and get someone to resolve the issue after I went out for early dinner. Afterwards the issue only comes back in a while and gone. Herman had got the cleaner take note of the issue too over the 6 days 5 nights stay. I would like to give the compliment to Herman for this case. Besides, though the breakfast served only simple food, however I think is good for nutrition and everything are fresh. Especially the juice and fruit sections."

"This is a very rare Non-View Hotel among hotels. It was a bungalow accommodation in the middle of a rice field. Since there are no restaurants around, you have to eat dinner at the hotel. The food was a bit pricey, but I liked it because it was prepared with fresh ingredients and served with sincerity. I was especially grateful that I could order beer even though it is an Islamic country. I also liked that they served unlimited coffee that was strong but not bitter. However, it is quite far because the entrance to Borobudur has changed. It is too far to walk. We called Grab and took a tuk-tuk to go there and back. The accommodation is quiet and secluded, so it is good for healing, but it is difficult to leave the accommodation once it gets dark."

"The key value-add of Borobudurhills is the availability of a private pool so definitely go for the Villa with Private Pool! Our private pool turned out slightly bigger than I had expected so I was pleasantly surprised. The entire outdoor area was really really nice with the large lounger perfect for a cuddle. We would have had a completely quiet and peaceful stay if not for the muslim prayers that were regularly broadcasted throughout the day, but that's beyond the management's control. Special thanks to the management as well for accommodating our date change directly even though this was not an option in our original booking with ***********. While our room had all the essentials, it could level up its aesthetics. This, plus the slightly off-grid location with no F&B options around (we ordered Grab food delivery) did feel like a slight mismatch with the price point of Boroburdurhills."

"The service was excellent. They even provided drinks upon check-in, and the staff spoke excellent English, making communication seamless. The location itself is quite remote and quiet, almost like living in a farmland at night. However, it's only a ten-minute walk to the main road, and close to Borobudur. The room was clean, but I noticed some issues with the cleanliness of the cups and cutlery during meals. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the shower water was a bit inconsistent in temperature."

"It was raing when we arrived and quite surprise that the parking space is located bit far from the lobby and we have to organize how to go to the lobby with getting wet. Luckily the staff was so helpful and provided us with big unbrellas for us. We booked the units with private swimming pool but unfortunately we have no time to enjoy it. The room is big and clean with best view to borobudur and the mountains: Merapi and Merbabu. It is splendid with the sky is clear"
