I am dissatisfied with my recent stay due to the following issues:
•  Children’s pool white drain cover caused falls, including my swollen foot; no fixes made.
•  Unannounced power outage for hours; staff denied responsibility, offered only fruit as compensation.
•  Room marketed as new but materials worn; neighbor’s doorbell rang in my room due to thin walls.
•  Inconsistent housekeeping; bathrobes once left rolled on my bed.
•  Post-renovation design unfit for families; toilet and bed separated by a curtain.

Everything was amazing, the resort is massive with many facilities and 5 pools! The few things that can be fixed are the interior / touch ups on the interior as some of the furniture was showing its age throughout the property (but that doesnt make it a deal breaker at all!). There were 2 lizards and one giant cockroach outside our room (in the private pool area) that would come everyday after sunset - making the pool unusable for my wife and daughter. The last night we stayed there was heavy rain and wind which caused some sort of an issue with the electricity in the resort and the lights in the whole resort kept going on off and on for about 15 mins but then was fixed (kinda scary to be honest). Lastly, please don't close all of the resorts facilities at night, its a beautiful and huge place, you should keep some parts of the resort open for those who wish to spend sometime outside their room, eating, walking, drinking whatever.

All in all, what a great and unexpected resort, would 10/10 recommend!

Spent 4D3N here. Location-wise, not directly in from of Kata beach but they conveniently provide shuttle service to the beach, just 5 mins away. Resort is right in the middle of the main kata street so easy access to the area. 711 available nearby. Room-wise, we relocated on the ground floor in front of the main pool area, direct access from our balcony. As Asian family, we were used to leaving our shoes at the door and bare foot in the room, however floor was dirty. Not used for us to walk around in the room with our shoes. Beds were soft to our delight. Breakfast was good. Didn’t really get to enjoy the pool as we were sick day before departure. Suspect the drinks from previous night dinner we had at one of the restaurant along the street. That just killed the entire mood and we couldn’t enjoy Centara fully.

I booked a pool villa and another sea view villa for my friends. As a seasoned traveller, this hotel is really a hit or miss. If you're lucky, you get a room with perfect views of the sea in front. But as for my friends and I, I'd say we got a partial view (considering it was rather blocked by trees for my friends). 

Private Pool Villa:
Though the private pool villa was supposed to be (as stated) private, the room given had a balcony and pool in which everyone at the spa reception was looking at us when we were swimming. There's even a room beside us in which their balcony gave them an unblocked view of us in the pool 🤡.

Do note that as the property is rather huge on a hilly terrain, it is tough for them to clean your rooms, and as such, the pool is rather dirty. There were people who came to pick the leaves above, but the small particles of dust and what not underneath were seen circling around when we tried to swim. 

Breakfast Spread:
Breakfast is decent. There was nothing much here because there was nothing noteworthy except the croissants and bacon, which was really crispy and dripping in oil. 

Reception Service: 
On our check-in date, the male service staff who attended to us was a sweetheart. He accommodated our requests for earlier check-in and was all smiles. 

On a side note, huge big fat no to the lady who helped my friend checkout of him room. Literally, IT WAS RAINING for days, and they needed the umbrella to travel to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Their staff kept the umbrella and never returned it when we asked for it (probably because they were busy with their breakfast service). But upon checkout, when we told the lady about the umbrella, she gave an attitude within this statement ”So did you find umbrella? Yes or No?” It was like she wasn't listening to what we even said ... Only after we tried to leave a review to leave an HONEST opinion did she tell us it was fine. Horrid experience with her. 

All in all, I'll recommend booking a normal Seaview room or the spa room! Spa room would be amazing if you get rooms with unblocked views. Enjoy your stay, and stay safe if you're reading this! 🥰

We have a long holiday with a very big room (2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and 1 big living room with a kitchen area) that is good and suitable for a family of 5 like us.
My children love the swimming pool, balcony, sports room and hotel cat. Good location, it is near the beach and food is within a short walking distance.

It is the first time for my children in Phuket. Everything is ok and safe for them. Good service, all reception staff are very friendly especially Khun Bou and a lady with long hair who has a beautiful smile and helped us a lot. We are happy to see the security at the entrance. They smiled and said ”Sawasdee karb” every time we passed by.

We like the sea views from both the bedrooms balcony and mountain view from the living room to have lunch and watch the sunset, no need to find any restaurant because we have everything from our rooms, just need to buy food from outside.

The few things that would be better if they can improve is the bathroom sink is too high for my little daughter, a lot of dried leaves in the pool and noises from the pubs which alerted us a few days but later we got used to it. 
But overall it is ok. Good  😊 😊 😊 😊 😊

2nd time staying here. great location as its near the city centre. however, hotels like moxy & novotel would be more convenient as they’re linked to the bridge connecting centralworld, big c, etc. booked this hotel for the price and how spacious the rooms are. hotel employees were also super friendly and welcoming. will definitely be back! :) 

ps. the room cleanliness improved a lot compared to the last time we stayed

Overall, my stay was pleasant. The location is excellent, with convenient access to several malls and key attractions. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement.

Cleanliness was below expectations, with visible dust in the room and sticky stains in the minibar area. The quality of the bedroom slippers was also disappointing and did not align with the standard of the other amenities provided.

Additionally, there was a consistently long wait for the lifts, and they could benefit from servicing, as the doors closed with a loud, squeaky noise.

Conveniently located for exploring the Chatuchak area, with easy access to local eateries, cafes, and night markets. Traffic is lighter than in the city center, and getting around is easy via the connected Skytrain, mall, or affordable Grab/Bolt rides. It’s about a 30-minute cab ride to downtown. Though the hotel is older, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I didn’t use much of the amenities as I was out most of the time, so I’d give a neutral rating on that.”

Centra Life is standard centara hotel chain , Hotel room meet standard. INTERIOR decoration modern thai style. Good practical layout .Ametity and service works through Application. Welcome drink Tom yum is creative with good taste. Breakfast buffet variety choice include Veggie option.Overall is great and Value for stay in old town BKK.

Convenient for visa extension as directly connected to Government complex (Immigration) under one roof.  Front desk, housekeeping efficient and friendly.  Parking guard Gf was the opposite.  Told us to turn inside the building though we have informed him we booked into the hotel and made us going around for the first 2 floors only to find out all parking lots have been permanently blocked off.  Upon our distressed   final approach, we were told to go to 4f where bridged directly to the hotel building.  Otherwise, could have been a comfortable stay.

The pool area is nice, pool spa, pool bar with happy hours are nice.
Tried massage at hotel, highly recommend and good promotion deal from 10 am-15 pm.
The only downside is hotel is not walking distance to the local food, conventient store. Have to call crab or taxi in and out.

Hotel is clean enough , breakfast contain bread, fruit, main dish like porridge, rice noddle , vegetable and meats and  omelettes station and coffee and juices , quite complete breakfast. Can see quite a lot of Indian tourist stay in this hotel and they have occupied the swimming pool all the times, hotel location is strategic and with hotel private car park. Air cond is cold , hotel even look abit old but still functional and I have no complains.

GREAT stay again @ my preffered hotel at Pattaya. 
Closed by Central Pattaya, Soi 6 , Beach-Road, Soi Bhuakao, even Walking Street within 20min walking distance. ENJOY it & PATTAYA 🤗
