"Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Midtown Richardson — overall a pleasant and convenient stay. The location is excellent — right next to MRT Ximen Station (Exit 4) and just a short walk to Ximending shopping area. It’s also very convenient for day tours since the meeting point was just nearby. The room is clean and modern, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom setup. However, the room itself is quite compact, with limited space for luggage. Still, it’s great value for money if you prioritize location and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend it for travelers who want easy access to transport, food, and shopping in Taipei"

"7.5/10 We stayed in this hotel many times, actually. - i feel a but disappointed that a smaller room was assigned but at least the front desk didn’t give me the room that I asked to avoid. -the housekeeping didn’t clean the room the second day so the next day I had to inform the staff in the lobby to make sure that the housekeeping would come to clean the room - No bottle or a jar (for refill the water) provided in the room as they don’t provided bottles of water any more so the guests have to refill the water from the machine, located on every floor instead. The first night, I have to buy a big bottle of water from 7-11 so we have a bottle to refill more water The front desk this time were quite nice this time , compared to the team that we met along 5 years (2017-2020 and 2023)"

"The hotel is great, very clean, the staff are very nice. I stayed at the suite which was a very big room and had a great view. The lounge was ok but I prefer less unhealthy snacks and more fruits/ healthy stuff in it. The pool was not heated and it was a bit cold. Also the last night my room had noises all night long. Like metal to metal noises which cause me not to sleep all night long. The staff were nice but didn’t really compensate for this horrible night I had no sleep at all besides promising to a late check out or upgrade next time I book. Which is more of a promotion than a real compensation. Too bad that left a bit a bitter taste to a nice stay so far. I’m in Taipei once or twice a year and I wish they were more attentive to my complaint and lack of sleep."

"The hotel generously upgraded our rooms from twin single beds to twin double bed. The location is absolutely fantastic and strategic as it is located just across major transportation nodes for HSR, Local Train and Metro. The rooms may look a bit dated but if aesthetic isnt a major concern, all else considered, it was a convenient and pleasant stay."

"Perhaps one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The location is incredibly convenient, just a 10-15 minute walk from Ximending station, making it easy to explore the area. The room was spacious and well-appointed, complete with complimentary bottled water. I appreciated that the housekeeping staff cleaned the room daily, provided you didn’t activate the ‘do not disturb’ button. The hotel features a unique underwater or submarine theme, which adds a fun and immersive atmosphere. I booked a room without windows, and while the lighting was somewhat dim, it created a cozy ambiance that I found quite pleasant. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. A thoughtful addition to the hotel is the luggage scale available for guests, allowing you to weigh your bags before checking out—definitely a great touch! We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which I would rate a perfect 10/10! There was an impressive variety of food options, including a delightful hotpot selection. The bathroom facilities were well-designed, with the toilet and shower room separated for added convenience. They provided complimentary body wash and shampoo, and I was pleased to see that the bed sheets were changed daily, ensuring a fresh and clean environment throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, friendly service, and thoughtful amenities!"

"Very high class hotel, Room is super big with welcome Fruits and snacks on the table, staff are very friendly and helpful. Walk down is shopping mall and opposite is Taipei station.. good place to stay.."

"The location is very central and easy accessible to large shopping malls and 赤峰街，however I need to emphasize the lack of training for front desk staff. Even though my room was a refurbished one ( I believe) the whole aircon system is still outdated and the worst thing is that it stopped working in the middle of the night ( for 1-2 hours). The walls and windows are paper thin, thus you can hear your neighbors v clearly, so I had a couple fighting on the one side and another couple watching TV and laughing on the other side, all of this around midnight."

"Our double room was upgraded for free, and it was quite spacious. The location is excellent, situated in Datong District and very close to the MRT. We really appreciated the complimentary daily replenishment of mini-bar drinks. All in all, a fantastic experience! I would definitely book here again on my next visit."

"The service, food, hot spring tub were excellent and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I wish could have been better is the outlets to plug my phone into. We couldn’t find one in the bedroom/sleep quarters (Japanese tatami). So make sure to bring a portable charger if you don’t want to be away from your phone. Another advice would be more of a treat if they provided a face mask and sleep wear. The reason I’d suggest this is because another competitor hotel of theirs provided very considerate toiletries for the ladies and I think that was a HUGE plus for me considering we spent a lot of money for one night. Anyways, overall villa 32 is great if you just want to spend a few hours to relax. "
