Mountain view Hotels in Taipei

"Hotel is clean, no weird smells all is good. Location is decent not the most convenient a lil troublesome that you have to switch stations to get to taipei main station for daytrips but there are also bus stations around to go places within taipei. But is overall good location if you like peace and quiet as its in a more local residential area and just nearby and a a few streets down there is food, laundromats, massage and hair salons. Was worries about showering in the bathtub but the hotel very nicely provided an anti slip mat so that was amazinggg ☺️ the toilet was also a Japanese style with water spray and heating. they give 2 free bottles of water everyday if you allow the housekeeper to clean your room everyday so i didnt even need to use the kettle at all :) new body and face towels are given too. the reception area also provided free snacks, coffee and water cooler as well. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, even though i checked out already they helped me charged my phone at the reception area. Overall had a rlly great stay wld reco this hotel :)"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right above Jiantan MRT station, and just over 350 meters from Shilin Night Market, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient. It's also not far from the Grand Hotel Taipei, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and the National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine. The hotel itself is well-equipped, featuring electric curtains, an automatic bidet toilet, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and a coffee machine. Breakfast is a mix of à la carte and buffet; the à la carte menu offers 5 main course options, while the small buffet includes various breads, vegetables, fruits, and milk, all of which are quite palatable. However, the front desk staff's service attitude was just average, not as good as what I experienced at the Victoria Hotel. Because of its proximity to the MRT station, rooms facing the mountain (and thus the MRT line) can hear the train noise as the MRT runs above ground in this section. I also highly recommend a ********* restaurant nearby called 'Goose Meat Chuan,' which has a 4.6-star rating on Dazhong Dianping and is only 300 meters from the hotel. Their goose breast, crab roe tofu pot, and taro vermicelli are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom's design and style were unique. The hotel facilities were complete, making it perfect for family trips or business stays. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I'll definitely come back again."

"Eslite hotel.... what can I say? It was a fantastic stay at this hotel. Our family left and already wanted to come back to stay. The location is tops 5/5 if you are in to design and creative environment - being right next to the Songshan Cultural and Creative district and a 24hour Eslite Spectrum next door! What more can one ask for?!! It was a total treat to stay here for 2 nights and it isn't enough. A point to note - there is not hotel swimming pool but there is a 24h gym, though it is a simple set up. There could have been more free weights. We had a surprise, a complimentary room upgrade to a larger one so the photos are what we stayed in and not what we booked (double deluxe room). This room was super well-appointed. The little design details and the spaciousness was perfect for our family of 3. We felt so at home and comfortable that we lounged in the room so much instead of going out. Most notably, the hotel lobby is designed to feel like a living room / reading room with extensive book collection which you can request to borrow up to your room. Every Thursday and Saturday, there is a happy hour for guests and free flow of beverages (alcoholic and non) and finger snacks. We enjoyed this little treat very much! I highly recommend Eslite hotel. We will be back!"

"During the Chinese New Year, we were lucky enough to book the last available room. It's super close to the Forbidden City, and the staff at reception were really friendly. The room itself has an elegant decor, the soundproofing is excellent, and the bed is very comfortable. My family had a great stay. The breakfast the next day wasn't a buffet, it was à la carte, but it was absolutely delicious. I'd love to stay here again in the future if I have the chance."

"The staff were incredibly welcoming. As soon as I entered the room, I could feel the hotel's thoughtful and cozy decor. The private hot spring bath was huge and even had a cold spring water pool, which was perfect for a refreshing rinse after a soak. The mini-bar in the room had a great variety of drinks. In the afternoon, they delivered complimentary fruit and snacks, and in the evening, there was even plum wine for a nightcap – absolutely fantastic! I stayed for two nights and got to enjoy two different breakfasts, both Chinese and Western set meals, which were incredibly rich, refined, and delicious."

"Rooms a bit basic but pleasant lounge (with Starbucks coffee), really enjoyed the very large pool (apprently water is fed in from a mountain spring, so it's cold but super refreshing). Breakfast quite disappoiting though staff was very nice. Bus stop right in front with various bus routes to all apots around Yangmingshan and even Taipei main station. Ne aware the volcanic fumes nearby give off a smell which can be strong at times."

"Overall is good. Reception is nice, room is clean, bed is very comfortable. I have a good sleep here.  Location close to ximending but need to walk around 300-400 meter. Btw hotel have a free shuttle to ximending"

"Great location, right next to Shilin Official Residence, making it very convenient to get to Beitou and Tamsui. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and quite satisfying. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed, so I couldn't try it out. The room was a bit small, but the bathtub was surprisingly large."
