Comfort Inn Crystal Broken Hill
"I arrived at Broken Hill Station by train at 7:30 PM, and it was a 3-minute walk from the station. I had dinner at the Chinese restaurant next door. The room was clean, and the bathroom was also spotless. The bath towels were clean and odorless. Although I could hear voices from the next room through the wall, it was quiet late at night and I slept well. The staff were friendly."
Desert Sand Motor Inn
Broken Hill Tourist Lodge
"was on our way back home from Queensland road trip and we stopped off in Broken Hill we booked everything on line. We was driving around to find this place but eventually found it and I must admit it was nit what I was expecting at all it felt like some old back packer place shared kitchen lounge dinning room but lucky we wasn't sharing a bathroom . the place was run down and in need of some TLC its was. A bit of a rabbit warren of rooms . when found our room it was clean and tidy and lucky we wasn't sharing a bathroom. the place was not a very inviting place didn't really feel comfortable."
Broken Hill Tourist Park
"Stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, have stayed here before, the cabin is functional and comfortable enough. Park is central to Broken Hill on the Hwy with little hwy noise"
The Argent Motel
"Clean room with all the usual inclusions including a m/wave, great price & location. Easy access & off street parking. Only issue was a flickering light above the hand basin. It suited me very well. I would definitely stay again."
Broken Hill Outback Resort
"What an oasis, fantastic resort, great value, great food, amenities out of this world. Nice historic hotel, lovely just lovely venue and only a short drive into Broken Hill. We have stayed at hundreds of sites and this is the first one I've put pen to regarding any review. Great young hosts that will help you and go overboard to make you stay the best. Don't forget the lovely fire pit - Recommend"
The Lodge Outback Motel
The Astra Hotel
"Astra – Broken Hill We stayed here for 3 nights in the Deluxe Suite. People have noted the car park here as being small and it is smaller than small. It fits 4 to 5 cars. However, I had no issue with parking in the street which at times I did during the day and after 5 pm it’s easy to park nearer the hotel. We were lucky though and managed to get a park in the actual car park every night later in the afternoon. It has to be considered this is an old property and it’s not like there is land to expand the car park. We also did not feel concerned about parking in the street. Always felt safe. There is secure access and the door always needs to be shut behind you. You do have to use stairs to get into the rooms, so it’s a consideration. The room was clean and refurbished some time ago, but it was perfect. The shower pressure etc is fantastic. There was tea, coffee, milk etc. The hair dryer was great. The pillows and mattress I could not fault. There was plenty of cupboard space, a couch, a desk and also a split system. The balcony is a large old pub balcony that once may have hosted many people but it’s a little rickety and dusty. We did see a tradie there so perhaps there will be a refurbishment in the future. There was outdoor furniture and a wonderful place for a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Plenty of power points. The Internet was okay and no signing in every time you came back to your room. You could even access it downstairs in the public areas and outside when having a drink. It was a quiet place. The location was fantastic and easy to walk everywhere. We did have dinner at Trinders. It looks extremely grand and once again excellent service. I had the best porterhouse and my husband had the gnocchi. Everything is pricey but that's the way it is everywhere. I had a salad at the adjacent café and it cost me a small fortune. It was tasty. I have to say the staff here are so worked off their feet, some of the bar staff are doing two shifts a day due to lack of staff. No fault of the hotel. I want to say to all the staff, you are amazing and thank you for your service."
