Anook Hotel & Spa Bucheon Sangdong ★★★
"The bed mattress wasn't bad, and I appreciated having both a regular and a latex pillow to choose from. The hairdryer was light and powerful, which was great. It was a shame there was a tea set but no tea bags. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, and they provided plenty of towels, which was a big plus. The bathtub was a little slippery, but it was very clean and nice, being a newer model. For breakfast, it seemed like they outsourced it, and while the selection was good, it felt like eating a cold bento box, which was a bit disappointing. The staff were all very friendly. The mechanical parking was a slight drawback, but the location is great with many good restaurants nearby."

"It is great that amenities are nearby, and since Sangdong Station and the restaurant district are close, you can enjoy many conveniences around the hotel. Transportation is also convenient, and with a park next door, you can take a walk in the park at night. I liked that it was a hotel where you could fully enjoy relaxation rather than the hustle and bustle of Seoul. It was comfortable for my family. Unlike in Japan, amenities are provided by requesting them at the front desk in advance. The room was quite spacious, and it was warm, as if the floor was heated. It was sufficient without even turning on the air conditioner."

"It's a motel! The facilities aren't too old and look clean, and I thought it was great that they provided charging cables and a hair straightener. If you can tolerate that unique motel smell, I think it's a fantastic choice! The walls seem thin, and you can hear the next room's voices very clearly, so be aware of that if it bothers you! It's super close to the station, the express train on Line 1 stops there, and you can get to Incheon Airport cheaply by local bus, so the access was excellent!"

"I didn't think breakfast was included in the room rate, but I was happy to find out it was at check-in, which saved me both money and time. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the salad dressing, so I think they could do without it. Also, when it's busy, breakfast can take a while to come out. The room was plenty warm, and there was hot water for the shower and bathtub, making for a comfortable stay. By the way, there's no curtain or partition between the bathtub and the vanity area, nor is there a door separating the room from the vanity. Other things to note: the elevator's air freshener scent is quite strong. Around the hotel, there are many convenience stores, bars, and yakiniku restaurants. The menus are only in Korean, so I couldn't read them."
