"The only duckie hotel in Canada it is! We love the big duck in the roundabout. Had a smooth and quick check-in. We were gifted two extra duckies besides of the one in our bathroom! Free coffee & tea at the lobby. This hotel is a renovated motel. We can park very closed to our room, where it’s only a stair away. A restaurant right next to the lobby. There are so many restaurants and shops opposite the hotel. The location was superb!

The room was very clean besides of the soap bar near the bath tub. It was still dim after all lights were on, especially the area of full size mirror. No amenities in this building, but laundry is cheap $2 each only"

"We booked a room at the last minute. We had no choice but to get a pleasant surprise. There is a hotel model built with Lego on the left side of the hotel entrance. It is full of details and the children love it. As soon as we entered the room, we felt comfortable. The room was spacious and bright, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. The children immediately asked if they could stay one more day, and the adults were also tempted, but unfortunately, because it was a holiday, it was fully booked. The only drawback may be that the building is relatively old and the sound insulation is not very good. But next time in downtown Victoria, this will be the first choice."

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from City Hall, and there's an A&W nearby for breakfast and lunch. There's a Chinese restaurant called 'Grand World' at the hotel, but we didn't try it. Our room was tidy, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning and cooking facilities. The staff were very helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and accommodating our request for two quiet rooms. Parking is free. For less than 1000, it offers good value for money."

"The hotel facilities are extremely old. The previous tenant's garbage was not cleaned up in the room. I felt inexplicably uncomfortable when I entered the room. It was depressing and scary. There was no sound insulation. The music from the bar downstairs continued until the early morning. The refrigerator in the room was placed in the toilet. The compressor made noises all night. There were other inexplicable noises. Someone opened the door in the middle of the night. I was afraid to fall asleep all night. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is not as good as the domestic chain. The manager did not give a refund. I booked 4 nights but only stayed 2 nights."
