"We have just returned from 7 nights at Pestana Troia and we can’t wait to go back. We were upgraded to a Townhouse which I highly recommend because there is a large, quiet pool for the use of only the surrounded houses so we had it to ourselves quite often. Our house was perfect for us and our 3 boys and we quickly figured out how to get to the beach, other pool and beach bar & restaurant. What makes it special is how cut off you feel, the houses are nestled in nature, there are board walks everywhere amongst the trees and the beach was paradise and never too busy. We ate at Moana 3 times where the food is good, staff friendly and the setting is stunning. We tried some Padel, popped to the central shop/cafe for essentials during our stay. You need to head up to Troia to do a bigger food shop for the stay but that’s not far. There are two beach bar/cafes along the beach to get drinks & ice creams. I can’t fault the place."
