High Speed Fiber Optics Internet.There are (2) large tables so you can enjoy your home cooked meal or if you prefer, throwing a steak or a veggie burger on the grill we are fully equipped for that too.The neighborhood is small and quiet. A perfect place to take walks or just sit on the front porch in the rockers or glider and take in the views. On a hot summer day what's better than putting your tube in the creek and splashing about with the kids? Enjoy your time in Hayesville at our fabulous cabin. On a cold winter day, you can enjoy a crackly fire with plenty of chairs to go around.It is a perfect place for a vacation getaway. The owners (me) are very close and are available to help with any question you have with the cabin or "things to do" in the area.We welcome up to two dogs, no more than 30 pounds. The Hepp’s Hideaway is a two bedroom, one bath cabin nestled in the Shooting Creek Community surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains in Hayesville, NC. Great for couples or small families. Spend your time rocking on the front porch or enjoy the various outdoor activities that Hayesville, NC and the surrounding areas have to offer. The cabin is near Lake Chatuge which has swimming, boating, and fishing. The Jack Rabbit Trails has several trails for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking. Also explore the various waterfalls in the area. The cabin is a short distance to Hiawassee, GA, Murphy, NC, and Franklin, NC, which is a scenic drive through the Nantahala National Forest. The cabin is surrounded by numerous trees with a Mountain View beyond the trees. We have deer in the area and we are surrounded by public hunting land. Enjoy spring as she makes her appearance from the balcony or through the window while enjoying the warmth of a gas log fireplace as winter exits. Outdoor recreation on Lake Chatuge and the Hiawassee River is moments away. Fine-dining restaurants are nearby, or enjoy a meal on the balcony while watching the sunset.THE SPACE: The 2-bedroom (2 beds), 2-bathroom chalet is easy to access. The staircase to the loft bedroom is carpeted for safety. The balcony & front porch have standard-height wood picket railings with outdoor furniture. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a propane gas stove. The living area has a propane gas log fireplace with a push-button on/off and an auto shut-off wall-mounted remote.GUEST ACCESS:Guests have complete use of the main floor, loft, main floor balcony, and front porch with a private entrance. 2-vehicle limit. The driveway is large, but turning around can be difficult with more than two vehicles. No boats, trailers, campers, or off-road sports vehicles. Hayesville is a small town, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is home to many historic buildings and landmarks, including the Clay County Historical and Arts Council, which showcases the region's rich cultural heritage. Another notable attraction in the area is Lake Chatuge, which spans the border between North Carolina and Georgia and is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and other activities on the water. The house is set in a beautiful meadow with sunset and sunrise views and is only minutes by car from downtown where you can dine at restaurants and breweries, enjoy outdoor festivities, and shop at local antique and gift shops that line the streets.
