This cabin is 3.1 mi (5.1 km) from Bass lake Recreation Area and 6.7 mi (10.9 km) from Golden Chain Theater. Take advantage of recreation opportunities such as a seasonal outdoor pool, or other amenities including complimentary wireless internet access and gift shops/newsstands. This cabin also features a television in a common area and a picnic area. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself comfortable in your cabin, which features a microwave. There's a private balcony or patio. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. The bathroom features a shower, complimentary toiletries, and a hair dryer.

Whether you come in Spring/Autumn for a hike, crisp clean air and star gazing, or for a day at the lake on a hot Summer day, our cabin makes the perfect cozy base camp. Fun fact! The south side of Bass Lake, near the cabin, is where the 1988 classic movie 'The Great Outdoors' with Dan Aykroid and John Candy was filmed.We are perfectly located for a visit to Bass Lake, Manzanita Lake, or Yosemite National Park.The main cabin: The space is perfect for a group of friends and/or family to gather. Our cabin has a large cozy living room with plenty of seating, a wood burning fireplace, standing AC units (no central air), and Grandpa's wet bar (the man knew how to have fun *BYOB) in the corner. The living room is stocked with toys, games, books and puzzles. Off of the living room is a large deck with an umbrella, outdoor seating, and a propane grill. From the patio nature lovers may see deer, wild turkeys, lizards, fox, quail, eagles, hawks, woodpeckers, bluejays, and hummingbirds. The sunroom off the living room is the perfect place to read or play a game. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need and has a large dining room table. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a soaking tub. A full bathroom is located off the hall and is stocked with all the basics for your use. The upstairs bedroom has a king sized bed, AC, windows galore (with blackout curtains so you can sleep in) and a sliding glass door leading to a balcony with a view for miles. Under the stairs you'll find a washer and drier. The cabin has a strong wifi connection and we have a smart TV in the living room. No cable TV, but feel free to log into your streaming accounts! **We are currently remodeling the kitchen but doing it one piece at a time so it doesn’t impact guests. Right now you’ll see we pulled the oven out but we bought a brand new small temporary one. The kitchen is still fully functional :)The bunkhouse: In the bunkhouse you'll find two bedrooms joined by a half bath. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and open closet. Based on guest feedback we now have AC in the bunkhouse rooms! *The bunkhouse is not attached to the main cabin and uses portable heaters in the winter months for heat.The property: We are on the boarder of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It's a no hunting annex and is usually pretty quiet so you'll likely see wild animals (mostly deer and turkeys). The land beyond the garage and end of the driveway does not belong to us. Our property is over an acre with plenty of space to park vehicles or a boat. Two minute drive or 7 minute walk to the Pines Resort, 15 minutes to Oakhurst and just 16 miles to the South entrance of Yosemite. Two masters with king beds and 6 twin beds upstairs make this a perfect place for families and friends to get together and enjoy beautiful Bass Lake, hiking trails, mountain biking and various winter activities. The kitchen and living room are spacious and all rooms enjoy views of the lake. A bbq and plenty of seating and tables on the deck overlooking the lake make for great entertaining and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.4 1/2 baths including two en suite with double sinks are plenty to handle guest needs.Simply walk off the top deck and down to the lake to the private boat dock, where you can tie up your boat or take a swim. Boat launching is available at the Pines Resort and across the lake (public launch).In the winter, enjoy the beautiful serenity of the area and avoid the crowds. Find a sled hill when it snows, visit Yosemite (beautiful in the winter!), take a hike or just enjoy the warmth of the lakefront cabin in front of the fireplace. Lovely Bass Lake home with lake views from the second story and kitchen. Approximately one block from the lake. Large lot with a big driveway. The backyard is beautifully landscaped. The fountain in the backyard helps set the tone for dinners outside or drinks at sunset. Duceys, the marina, and Pines bar are minutes away and walkable for those who like to stretch their legs. The lake is only a block away. If you need anything from supplies to food, Oakhurst is only a 10 minute drive and has major grocery stores, Starbucks, great restaurants and almost anything you might need. If your looking to do something more adventurous, Yosemite National Park entrance is only 30 minutes away.The spaceOur Cabin is a 3 bedroom 2 bath. The master bedroom has its own shower/tub attached to the room. We have 3 smart televisions that are over 50" with access to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon prime . We offer fast Wifi and a desk for those who need to work remotely. Alexa is happy to play the music of your liking while you cook in our well outfitted kitchen. We have a Keurig for all you coffee lovers! There is also tea and a frother to have foam on you coffee. The couch in the living room pulls up to create a large lounging or sleeping area. Extra blankets and sheets are stored in the chais lounge for anyone who wants to rest on the couch. Each room has its own ac/heating unit and they work beautifully so we have no doubt on those hot summer days you will be cool inside and warm in the winter. In the winter we have a wood burning fireplace and an abundance of firewood to keep you extra toasty. There is also a large covered parking area if you wish to park your cars or a boat.Our bunk room is perfect for kids and we have a bunch of toys to keep little ones occupied. We offer also offer a pack and play as well as a high chair for families with little ones.Our second story can accommodate a small family as it had one king and 2 twins located together with a great view of the stars and lake. Our master has a king size bed, it’s own bathroom and 55” tv. Our bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, toiletries, and body wash. We have a washer and dryer and supply laundry detergent and an iron and ironing board. We just purchased all new furniture in June 2022 so everything is brand new! There are also new appliances in the house.Spend the day on the lake or go on an adventure to Yosemite. Guests also have access to our semi-private lakeside beach area (available only to this neighborhood). This area has some covered seating. When you get back, relax in the recently landscaped backyard. The backyard has a calming water fountain with strings of lights that drape across the yards. There is a table in the backyard that seats 6 so you are able dine inside or outside. We have a gas BBQ outside and corn hole. A custom made Owl box is also in the backyard. We hope to have an owl make this his new home.Guest accessThe entire house and yard are yours to use exclusively. Other things to noteThe Pines Resort has a general store, gas pump, pizza and ice cream parlor, full service marina with boat rentals, jet ski rental, paddle board and tube rentals. There are also some fantastic hiking trails in the area. Oakhurst is only a 10 minute drive away. It has some great restaurants and a Raleys and Vons for groceries.
