The cabin isn’t far from Smoke Hole for some great fishing. Looking for some great hiking. We have Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks just a beautiful drive through the mountains. We are about five min. from Highland's Golf Club if you are looking for a weekend of golf. Looking for a place to go with you furry baby. Check out Swilled Dog Hard Cider on Pettersburg Pike/Industrial Park Road in Franklin WV. This small cabin with one full bathroom (washer/Dryer)(Shampoo and body wash) and one bedroom (Queen Bed). The cabin offers a open floor plan and has two twin beds. I also have two twin air mattress if needed. This small cabin can sleep six. ALL LINENS ARE PROVIDED. The kitchen is a fully stocked with everything you would need. Dinning room table with four chairs and if you need more room. There is a bar with four bar stools over looking the kitchen. (Paper towels and hand towels are provided with soap). If spending time inside you have a leather electric couch and love seat to relax and unwind. For the really cold night we offer a woodstove in the cabin and also a split unit if you don't want to mess with wood. The cabin has WiFi and a 55 inch screen TV with movies to watch on a DVD player. If the sun is shinning and the outdoors are calling. There is a drive under carport in the back to have your car under shelter. The front porch offers a beautiful overlook of the property with chairs. Out from the front deck there is more room to socializing with friends/family when grilling out with on a charcoal grill . When the sun is seating behind the mountains . Get ready to build a fire in our large fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We have fire wood for a donation. I have a pond that is shared with another cabin. Don't worry there is plenty of room. Each cabin has its on pond area (picnic table and fire pit). You are allowed to fish but much catch and release. The property is on a cistern (Large water tank that holds water for the roof to supply water to the cabin). Please bring your on water to drink. A Few miles from the cabin is Dry Run Spirits making great Bourbon for your enjoyment with great hosts. if you visit in the spring time, you are close to several maple syrup camps which is a must and absolute joy. You will find syrup in the cabin from a camp in Monterey ran by a close friend for many years. Come and spend some time with us. You will love it.
