As with our first cabin my son and I are putting together cabin #2. This rustic little cabin is nestled in the woods with a nice size outdoor space, a fire pit to relax beside; with a large flower garden for a peaceful feel! An experience in the woods is what we want for you! Be it Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter we are equipped for your stay. This cozy little chalet style cabin has a tiny house kitchen w/ all the amenities. Plenty of storage and a nice clean feel! The main bedroom has a king size bed in it as well as two queen size mattresses in the loft bedrooms w/stairs. The common area is set up for comfort with a tiny house couch, tv and just a nice hang out area… the bathroom has a large shower unit for extra comfort as well as a sink and toilet.. based on a tiny house theme with extra room for moving around inside and out; this little cabin is very quaint! Front deck w/ ramp as well as a small back porch w/ramp.There is a picnic table for outdoor dining as well as chairs around the fire pit, a bench in the garden and much yard for moving around. Deadwood Acres is a pet friendly log cabin with a nice deck. The cabin sits on 15 acres that is just 1 mile from Jacks Fork river, very private and relaxed atmosphere although it is still close enough to town to be convenient. Cabin located up a private road on a ridge above pine hollow, driveway is fairly steep, but not bad. Property is 200 acres surrounded by Rocky Creek conservation land. Our home is located on the property just past the cabin. ATV access trails to State land close by. Trails and dirt road access to Eminence where a variety of trails are also available to ride. Enjoy day trips to the Jack Fork River, Current River, Eleven Point River, Rocky Falls, Blue Spring and Klepzig Mill. Canoe, kayak, rafting and tubing outfitters close by. Cell service.... not so good. Guests can use wifi calling.The spaceQuiet, remote and secluded area. Only 7 miles from Eminence and 5 to the Jacks Fork River. We rarely see our guests except occasionally in passing. We are perfect for anything you want to do in the Ozarks whether it be floating, hiking, caving, or just getting back to nature and enjoying the peace and quiet. We are off the beaten path, (exactly 3 miles down a gravel road), in a very intimate setting, where you can relax in privacy. The cabin is surrounded by forest with abundant wildlife and amazing stargazing. We do NOT allow hunting on our property. We now offer hi speed WiFi (Starlink) and Netflix. This is a much better service than the WiFi we previously had. WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS/PETS!! If you bring a dog/pet you will be told to leave and no refund will be issued!! Our area had a lot of flooding this spring. Our section of the gravel road was destroyed. It has been and will continue to be worked on. As of now we don't suggest bringing vehicles that sit really low to the ground. I drive a minivan and our son drives a Mustang and we both do fine. Our fencing was also destroyed and our 6 horses, all mares, are just free ranging on our property. They are like big dogs and will come and say hi occasionally. If you have an issue with horses at all we can pen them up during your stay. It will not be a problem at all so please just let us know.
