Ithaca College is a short 10-12 minute drive and Cornell is within easy driving distance as well. Ithaca airport is 30 minutes away. Natural attractions are Jennings Pond, Buttermilk Falls, and Robert H Treman State Park with its amazing natural swimming hole and falls. The stretch of Comfort road in front of the chalet is part of the Finger Lakes trail system and leads to a trail head that goes into Danby State Forest. Note: The cabin is surrounded by nature and as a result "nature" occasionally get inside. This is part of country living. We perform regular maintenance and cleaning to minimize the occurrence.Rental insurance: We require a security deposit or low cost insurance, which will be added during your transaction. This protects our home and belongings and helps us keep our rates low. If you choose to put down the security deposit, it will be refunded back to your credit card 14 days after your stay completes.
