The Hotel Maria Cristina is centrally located in the centre of old town, just steps away from the walled city. The hotel rooms have been fully renovated and are spacious and well decorated. The washroom is large with a big walk in shower for two. Breakfast in the morning had several choices and there is also the option of just picking one or two items a la carte instead of paying the full fare. Either way, you won't be disappointed. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an underground parking garage which may present challenges if you have a large car, we did however manage. Overall, the place to stay when visiting Toledo!

◆Access It takes about 10 minutes by bus from the center of Toledo's old town. From there, it's a short walk. There are no lockers at Toledo Station, so I left my suitcases at a shop near Atocha Station (about 4,000 yen for 24 hours for 2 items). ◆Restaurant I made a reservation for dinner when I checked in. It was great to be able to enjoy everything from the sunset to the night view. I asked for recommendations on the food and ordered three dishes, all of which were delicious. The breakfast also felt luxurious. ◆Amenities There were no toothbrushes or slippers, so I used the ones I brought with me, but I had no complaints. (I think I could have gotten some if I had asked.)

The hotel is located in the center of the ancient city of Toledo. It is close to the bus station, commercial plaza and pedestrian street. We are driving, except for the narrow roads, it is easy to find! The facilities in the room can only be said to be normal, the room is relatively small, but it is very clean, the hotel front desk service is super enthusiasm, and I also burned boiling water for me to make instant noodles! The hotel has a cooperative parking lot. Now the small square at the entrance of the hotel is parked. After the check-in, you should go to the cooperative parking lot of about 200 meters, and then take the discount ticket at the front desk, 15 Euro / 24 hours! But the best thing I think is the hotel's breakfast, rich, delicious, freshly baked bread and ham slices, super delicious! The room we booked was more than RMB 500 a night, including breakfast, and it was very good value. The quality of the breakfast was not worse than that of other hotels that spent more than ten euros before! Overall, it is worth recommending!

The stamped parking fee of the hotel can be discounted about 13.5 euros a day. 3. The ancient city basically walks to visit various scenic spots. There are many restaurants nearby, and it’s even more lively when you walk up to the center of the ancient city. There is also a Carrefour supermarket three to four hundred meters away. 4. On the second day of the tour, I was stolen by similar immigrants with gifts, 30 Euro worth of children’s T-shirts and refrigerator stickers. I would have known that I would reveal my wealth earlier so that I would not let others go from the cathedral to the old bridge in regret. We are not happy anymore, well, it's worthwhile to train children to analyze the memories afterwards. 5. The room seems to have a little retro romance. It is not old and clean. We only need to go up three steps on the first floor and take the spiral staircase upstairs. The kitchen facilities are fairly complete, including a washing machine and refrigerator. The living room and dining room are also quite big. In the bedroom, the quilt on the bed is covered with blankets out of the bedspread. I don’t feel comfortable with the quilt. Let’s go for one night. The toilet is very large, and the electric water heater is like a large 100-liter tank, which is enough to take a shower.

The hotel is located outside the ancient city of Toledo, and parking is free, which is good for self-driving tourists. The hotel is not far from the San Martin Bridge, it takes about 15 minutes to get there; if you have time, you can park your car at the hotel and walk through the San Martin Bridge to enter the ancient city (this bridge can only be pedestrianized). If you drive into the city, you will have a lot of detours. It may take longer than walking. The hotel provides breakfast (included in the room rate). Although there are not many choices, it is not bad. The hotel has a good environment, with its own small yard; the rooms are not big, but they are quite cozy.

Due to the weather, we decided to temporarily change our route and stay in Tolando for two nights. We encountered a parade and didn't arrive at the hotel until 12 o'clock in the morning. The hotel is close to the church, and the parking lot is about 15 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is in a good location, relatively new, and the electric towel rack is very useful. Bringing children does not occupy a bed, but we were asked to pay 60-120 euros to upgrade, but in the end we were given a regular room, which was a bit unpleasant. The next day a new front desk informed us that we should not be charged, and the 60 euros were fully refunded. Relatively reasonable and honest, this is a good comment! In addition, it is not recommended to have breakfast in the hotel, buy it yourself in the supermarket or eat at McDonald's

We had booked two nights at the hotel but really considered checking out after the first nigh as a car is required to visit the city and the restaurant was closed. I showed the receptionist their web page and it said that the restaurant was open. A few hours later we were told that a meal would be coked for us and could we choose what we wanted. It appeared that one chef was ill and the other chef came in and cooked just for us, this was a piece of great customer service which we appreciated. I believe that due to covid the hotel was not getting many guests and therefore revenue was down, this also showed in the garden not been kept tidy, although the pool was in good repair. The room required a little tender loving but had a fridge and AC but no safe. The public areas in the hotel were clean and tidy. The panoramic view of the city was spectacular. I feel for the hotel owners as with reduced revenue they did not have enough money to spend on the outside areas, but I think that as the number of guest increase the hotel will shine once again.

This is the old hotel with the most ritual sense of staying during this trip. The location is very good, very close to the ancient street, and it has its own parking lot! It feels like living in a European castle
