"The front desk staff weren't very proactive; they didn't greet guests coming or going. The room was average, but the bathroom threshold was exceptionally high, and I almost tripped every time I entered or exited. Let me especially talk about the large public bath—the facilities are terrible! The dry changing area is tiny, so small that three people changing at once felt cramped. They also don't provide common amenities for women like hair ties or elastic bands. The open-air hot spring area has no thermometer, is very small, and there was a noticeable oil film and debris floating on the water. I feel the hygiene definitely needs improvement."

"The hotel has been open for over a hundred years, and although the facilities are a bit old, they are still kept spotless. The elderly lady was very welcoming; seeing that we were checking in on a hot day, she quickly brought us bottled ice water. The hotel also has onsen (hot spring baths), with separate baths for men and women. One highlight is that you can choose an elegant cup to enjoy your tea or coffee for free. Another highlight is that you can take photos with the antique objects. A third highlight is that they offer a light breakfast of bread, juice, and salad in the morning. After enjoying the evening activities, it's less than 200 meters from the entrance of the Takeo Onsen building, making it a great accommodation option."

"A long-established hot spring hotel, full of thoughtfulness and thoughtfulness Carefully remember the room number of each guest and accurately bring out the shoes to us! What a surprise! When we checked out and drove away, they were still waiting at the door to say goodbye to us ~ I was really touched! Treat with care and sincerity! There is a large public bath on the 1st and 4th floors respectively (the time is different, the 4th floor is larger and has a water dispenser). The shower gel and shampoo in the large public bath are very useful. Have breakfast in the large room on the second floor, the Japanese set menu is full of details and deliciousness Next to the Takeo Hot Spring Tower Gate Parking lot opposite the hotel Room Japanese style ~ comfortable All spare parts available"

"As soon as the hotel car parked, the service staff immediately came to pick up the luggage, checked in kindly, and felt at home. The hot springs are great and the sauna is great and the breakfast is delicious. Mocha coffee is delicious. The bed is also good to sleep on the pillows. The only soundproofing is not good. Outside the window on the first floor is the chimney. I smelled the smell of smoke all night. Even the pajamas smelled of smoke. Unfortunately, the windows were airtight and soundproofed. The door switch of the room was very loud. The overall feeling is still great and I like it very much."

"The hotel is right next to the Takeo Gate Tower. The Japanese-style room is quite large. There is no one in the hot spring bath at night, so you can have a private hot spring bath alone. There is no hairdryer in the room, so you need to blow it in the bathhouse. The dinner and breakfast were quite sumptuous and very filling. Check-in time is 3 pm, not 2 pm as shown by Ctrip. There is no problem communicating in English at the front desk."

"It is said that it was a hotel where the emperor had stayed before, so I chose Shunkeiya. In fact, there are not many hotels to choose from in Takeo Onsen Street. The hotel rooms are quite modern and the bathroom toilets flush automatically. The dinner is quite sumptuous, and the breakfast is a decent Japanese breakfast. The hot springs are pretty average, one indoor and one outdoor. Half of the shops on Takeo Onsen Street are open and half are closed, which is a bit depressed. The hotel is about one kilometer away from Takeo Onsen Station. Call the hotel and they will pick you up from the station."
