"I had a 14-hour layover and stayed for a couple of hours. I arrived early and paid QAR 100 for early check-in. The receptionist was very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep because the room had a strong cigarette smell, and there was also a mouldy odour in both the room and bathroom. The phone in the room wasn’t working, so I couldn’t call the reception, and I was too tired to go downstairs. The room definitely needs a proper spring cleaning. Overall, I would rate it 3/5."

"I stayed here for a few days while changing apartments and the staff understandably assumed I was only here for a short stopover. I left an item of clothing behind and whether they threw it away or it was stolen by staff, I do not know, but they were so unprofessional and unhelpful when I rang to ask them about it. It was definitely left in that hotel yet they were insisting they had no record of it after I checked out. The housekeeping manager also never bothered to call me back and every time I rang, I was put through to unprofessional people. Would not recommend this stay to be honest. I’ve been in Doha for more than 4 years and this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at here, in terms of staff."

"Great experience at Steigenberger Hotel. The facilities are nice clean and comfortable. Location was great too near to the tourist attractions. Would recommend to everyone who is planning to go to Qatar. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Would love to be your guest again next time. Great place and great price 👍"

"I stopped here for two nights en route back to my home in Malaysia. I arrived late, tired and utterly drained plus walking on crutches after surgery. Chris the doorman welcomed me and got my luggage to my room all with a smile and the young lady on reception (01.00am on morning of 13th July) made sure to ask all the questions to ensure my obvious disability issues were helped. A late check out was easily given but I want to highlight that I had my absolute best nights sleep in over 6 months and most definitely since my operation 2 weeks ago. Keep up the good work. "The hotel's location is superb, with ocean views and a large shopping mall right across the street – very convenient! The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable! It has two restaurants, both with fantastic ambiance and delicious food! My son can't stop talking about the hotel's dinner! 100% recommend!"
