Mercure Darlington Kings Hotel ★★★★
"Very small room with tiny bed Too many stairs"
Elevate suites Darlington Fast WIFI close to city centre ★★★
"The room was nice , had everything i needed and clean, the host was very responsive and respectful and had great communication throughout the stay. The location was close by to the town centre which allows for easier travel to different places. Would definitely recommend to anyone else"
Premier Inn Darlington Town Centre ★★★
"Lovely staff but room 416 impossible to get a good Premier Inn guarantee night’s sleep with the humming sound of what sounded like a building site outside our room! If you sleep through you might make it but waking part way through the night to that, kept us awake. Would NOT recommend and we normally love Premier Inn."
Blackwell Grange Hotel ★★★★
"Attended a birthday celebration. Staff went above and beyond. In addition, it is a lovely venue in beautiful location and surroundings. 30 minute walk into a lively town or a 5 minute car trip. Would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway or meet up with family/friends. Staff were amazing."
Walworth Castle Hotel, BW Signature Collection by Best Western ★★★
"Reception staff was super friendly and very helpful a credit to the hotel. Room was clean with a lovely bed and warm powerful shower. Food served til 8.30pm which the food we had was lovely and would recommend, menu is rather small but they are good at accommodating e.g vegetarian however a little on the high price. I would say the bar is over priced for the stay however lovely open fire! The grounds are nice with a woodland behind. With a kids play area and a few added bits e.g giant chest set. Room was a little cold (room 25) with the heating in the room not working however a plug in was provided within the room and the hotel it’s self rather warm downstairs with working heating. My biggest concern was the windows the bathroom window faces out to the staff carpark and the blinds old, dirty and not working with dam or water damage above the windows ( which i expected given the age and price of the room) The hotel has a little dungeon which we were allowed to go down which added to the castle stay! The hotel has certain bits of armed men and knights bits on display. I felt with a small investment in displaying the castles history and strengthen the knight theme the dungeon could be a little hidden gem Ice cream parlour up the road on a working farm with kids play area, good selection of shops within 10 mins drive at a new retail park with cinema, plenty of restaurants, and supermarkets Would stay here again Overall would stay here again"
Rockliffe Hall Hotel Golf & Spa ★★★★★
"Good Hfkdnfj"
Bannatyne Hotel Darlington ★★★★
"Came to Darlington to visit.friends. The staff we're fantastic upon arrival and during the stay. The room had a few issues which were reported to the staff and the hotel itself could do with a face-lift as a bannatyne hotel. Again I will stress the staff we're amazing."
Holiday Inn DARLINGTON - NORTH A1M, JCT.59 by IHG ★★★
"Nice spacious room, just a shame about the temperature it was very hot"
Darlington East (Morton Park) ★★★
"Great Premier Inn. We booked a family room and did the meal deal package and the Beefeater was great on the Saturday Evening. Can't beat a Premier Inn Breakfast for value when travelling. The conservatory we had breakfast in was nice atmosphete. Would definately recommend"
