Tracadero Beach Club & Holidays Rentals ★★★★
"They are rigid in terms of management (when we arrived earlier they didn't want us to wait in the hotel and after 3 hours of waiting in front of the hotel doors standing we were finally able to get in!) and the cleanliness of the rooms is not great and breakfast is not included whereas in the French overseas territory everything is included! Too bad because the site with its swimming pools is magnificent!"
Sunscape Dominicus la Romana - All Inclusive ★★★★
"All the staff are very attentive, it is recommended to go with family and children"
Soficu Hotel El Edén Dominicus ★★★
"Hotel with small or large apartments for long stays equipped with everything including a large terrace overlooking tropical gardens and swimming pool, the manager Mr. Ugo and his staff are very friendly including the dog Chicca who is a sweetheart... I highly recommend it and it is close to the beach of the Villaggio Viva Windham 10 minutes walk"
Catalonia Royal la Romana Adults Only - All Inclusive ★★★★★
"The hotel's main advantage at this time is the seaweed-free sea, so be prepared for it to be crowded. The sun loungers by the sea are tightly packed in about 10 rows, but you have to reserve a spot in the shade by 8 p.m. The green area is quite large, including a family area where you can stroll. There are many different restaurants, which require reservations, and unfortunately, the food is poor. We only liked the Italian. The breakfast buffet in the adults' area is excellent and varied. There are many fun activities throughout the day to suit every taste. The gym is modest. We didn't leave the hotel. The large glass bottles of water in the room are inconvenient. On the beach, water is only available in glasses. Overall, a solid four."
Alkquimia Hotel ★★★
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional stay – highly recommended! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Alkquimia. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, spotlessly clean and elegantly designed, with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The location is absolutely ideal — very central, safe, and literally close to everything. You can walk everywhere, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop pool is absolutely lovely — perfect for unwinding, with a great vibe and a very pleasant setting. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. The ladies at the reception were amazing: warm, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their kindness truly made our stay even better. Our room was cleaned daily and was always sparkling clean. The layout was comfortable and stylish, and the bathroom was modern and impeccably maintained. Overall, Alkquimia was an outstanding experience, and we highly recommend it. We would happily stay here again!"
B&B Villa Luna ★★★
"A charming Italian-run villa in the center of Dominicus, in a quiet area close to the pedestrian zone, restaurants, markets, and colmados. It's also a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Playa Publica Dominicus (busy on weekends), with lounge chair and umbrella rental available on site. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with fresh fruit and five sweet and savory options (yum, yum!!). My cozy ground-floor room had a small terrace where I could also smoke. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owners, Adele and Rolando...what can I say, fantastic. Traveling alone, they made me feel at home and safe!!! I'm already missing the atmosphere of Villa Luna!!!"
Dreams Dominicus la Romana - All Inclusive ★★★★★
"Everything is excellent"
HM Alma de Bayahíbe - Adults Only - All Inclusive ★★★★
"Average hotel. Large but poorly equipped room, very outdated decor. Air conditioner badly placed on the balcony: I hit my head and bled. I reported the incident to housekeeping and reception, but received no response. Food was decent, but expensive for the quality."
Los Flamencos Aparthotel Beach Club ★★★
"The location is great, and the price is half that of several luxury hotels nearby. There's a fairly large swimming pool downstairs. Note that this hotel charges extra for electricity. I think I was charged an extra 600 pesos for two nights. Everything else was fine. It's the first time I've encountered a hotel that charges extra for electricity after paying over a hundred US dollars for the room. I was very unhappy on the first day and said I wouldn't pay for the electricity. They told me to cancel immediately. The problem is, canceling through Ctrip will incur a deduction of around one hundred US dollars; wouldn't I be losing a lot of money?"
