📍 Via Nazionale, 7, Santa Maria Novella, Florence
★★★★ 9.8 (60 reviews)

"This hotel is a charming conversion of an old building, located just a 5-minute walk from the train station. It only has a few rooms, which are all very quiet, safe, and well-equipped. There's a supermarket downstairs, making it super convenient for any supplies you might need. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. They recommended a restaurant for T-bone steak and even taught us how to use a local booking app to reserve a table in advance, which saved us nearly 30 Euros thanks to a 30% discount! We actually used this app throughout our trip in Italy afterwards, as most restaurants offered great discounts through it. The owner also pointed us to a unique local perfume shop, which I highly recommend checking out – it’s a beautiful store and exceeded my expectations. Given that hotels in this area tend to be quite expensive, I highly recommend this place if you don't require extensive hotel services."

Ostello Bello Firenze

Ostello Bello Firenze

📍 Via Faenza, 56, Florence
★★ 8.9 (142 reviews)

"The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station. To get to the room, you have to go through two doors, which adds an extra layer of security with a code. There's a very practical and spacious storage area under the bed for luggage. The air conditioning runs 24/7, and there are plenty of dining options nearby."

Cadorna ★★
"A very kind and welcoming host, always available to answer any questions. The accommodation isn't in the city center, so it's very quiet. The room is large with a beautiful balcony, and the mattress and pillows are incredibly comfortable. Free coffee and water are available all day. It's within easy walking distance. If you take the T1 light rail from the central train station, turn left, turn away from the train station, and get off at Status, three stops away. It's a short walk away. The breakfast is very generous. Air conditioning is an extra 10 euros, depending on the weather when you arrive. I think staying here is far better than staying in the center. The Mall Outlet Village bus stop is just a 10-minute walk away. I had a wonderful three days in Florence."
