"Modern concept, smart device, very simple check-in, reasonable price, but also no sneak. Unfortunately, rather narrow beds for 2 and very simple head kit - there was saved at the wrong place. Many roofs right in the bathroom are suboptimal and naturally lead to many windows on the newly white wall. :-( In sum, even with rare alternatives, a good choice but not yet excellent"

"Authentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi. Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere."

"Very welcoming, friendly, kind and helpful staff at this hotel. Checked in earlier than the allotted time without any requests, just clarified that the room is ready and welcome. Breakfast buffet, cozy rooms, very clean, has everything you need, the hotel is located in the city center. You can get from Munich airport in 16 minutes, the bus runs every 10 minutes, which is very convenient."

"Very comfortable hotel - clean, rooms were good-sized, restaurant on the premises. Breakfast offered in the morning with eggs cooked to order. Friendly and helpful staff. Johannes was particularly helpful with advising us on public transportation into Munich via bus/train and arranging our transportation to airport. Lovely town with university and famous brewery located nearby. "
