"Magic place - cannot recommend enough! We had book 3 nights upon arriving in Sri Lanka to decompress and acclimatise. Due to the airline’s change of schedule we ended up arriving 3 days early, so spent 6 nights in Uga Riva. And we loved every single moment. The house is beautiful, authentic and soothing for eyes and mind. The rooms are perfect and very clean. The good is really good quality with a sense of the details. For example a great breakfast every day - good coffee, great fruit juices, best omelette etc. And also wonderful dinners and cocktails. The garden is fantastic. And most importantly the whole team gives you a warm, attentive, yet private, very genuine experience. We felt utterly at home and had the most magical, tranquil and soulful days chilling by the pool, playing cards on the veranda, napping in our comfortable rooms and watching the wildlife in the garden. We left feeling deep inner calm before embarking on our Sri Lanka adventure. Perfect stay! Don’t miss out on staying at Uga Riva!"
