"It's a short walk from Minusio Station. The room is designed with a sense of technology and is compact. I think all facilities are in place. Even the hangers are in matching colors and styles. It's a bit like a modern university dormitory. The buttons are all touch screens. There is a coop at a gas station nearby, but it closes early. It's very comfortable to walk along the lake. It takes 20 minutes to get to Locarno. You can also take a train for one stop. Because it's an Italian-speaking area, the atmosphere is relatively relaxed. Some people are sleeping sweetly on the grass by the lake. The hotel owner is OK. There are a lot of free drinks in the small refrigerator in the room. The price is cheap."

"This hotel and the Internazionale Hotel and Spa treated me poorly and I ultimately left Bellinzona early because of the outright prejudice and snobbishness if the Swiss people in this city. Hotel Unione has nobody working at night so if you don’t have your key you are locked out. Internazionale lost my reservation and told me it was my fault even when I showed them my reservation. I left and went to the Hotel Unione and everything was fine until I got locked out and the Owner accused me of a “big problem” because the front door was supposedly broken and nobody could leave the hotel in the morning which is a total lie since the hotel has multiple doors. Very mean and aggressive management, just watch how they respond to my review!"

"Parking is free. It's basically a high-end version of Kyoto, with spacious rooms. Convenient for train travel. Free resources include a free transportation pass for the Canton of Ticino (QR code) provided by the front desk, which allows free travel on the SBB, the mountain train, the lake boats, and all public buses. A tip: take bus number 3 opposite the Locarno train station to avoid the first section of the mountain train (the cable car is a rip-off, costing 8 Swiss francs, even after discounts), but the bus ride is free. The second cable car is an irreplaceable option."
