"Hotel a bit in from the main road, about 3 km in. We arrived in the evening and not even sure if the road is leading into the hotel as the surrounding is dark and road is just dirt track road without any sign of building around.. More signs should be provided for first time visitors. But once inside the hotel compound it feels ok."

"We had an exceedingly pleasant stay at Westlodge in Graskop during our tour of the Panorama route. Gustav and his team went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. We stayed in the Cottage which was great as we had a small galley kitchen to use up the last of our groceries from our self-catering stays. Breakfasts were marvellous and we loved the choice and attention to detail. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the electric blankets and aircon for heating were very much in use for combatting the winter cold. Great situation, knowledgable hosts, super comfort and attentiveness. I can highly recommend booking a stay here and we shall most certainly be back!"

"Disappointing Stay: A Mixed Bag Our initial experience was spoiled by noisy neighbors, setting a negative tone for our stay. Unfortunately, staying over New Year's Eve was a mistake. Fireworks within the property (which is illegal) and throughout the town made for a chaotic night. The accommodation itself is functional, with a convenient walking distance to town necessities. Self-catering is a plus, but the room, utensils, and overall condition have seen better days. Major drawbacks include: - Extremely uncomfortable beds, forcing us to resort to sleeping on the floor - Sticky, varnished wood surfaces - Subpar cleanliness (4/10), with inconsistent linen and toilet paper replacement - No WiFi, despite claims of a hotspot at the pool - Missing light bulbs in critical areas Positives: - Decent price - Convenient location - Attractive outdoor space Ultimately, the poor sleep quality and cleanliness issues led us to check out early and pay more for a better experience elsewhere."
