"Great location- up on the hill at the top of the village so you are away from the noise, but still close enough to walk easily into the center. The room was a great size, and the view was awesome. Super clean, and all quite new still. The tv had the best sound on a hotel tv we have heard ever! The complimentary breakfast was a simple typical meal- scrambled eggs one of two ways, an arepa, some cheese, a plate of fruit and coffee and juice. Basic but a good way to start the day. Some of the staff speak some english, which made things easier when our spanish wasn't up to scratch. I would recommend staying here. You pay a little more, but being able to sleep at night due to no noise is worth it. Only draw back is no elevator, so you have to walk a few stairs. But that is no big deal- we all need a bit more exercise :)"

"I came to Guatape by bus and spent two days and one night exploring the area. I was so impressed by the hospitality of Nataly who’s the hotel manager and her staff! They were so warm and informative about the area. I enjoyed a beautiful Mass at the Manasterio Santa Maria De La Epifania which was one of Nataly’s recommendations. I also walked back to the town from there which was so peaceful and beautiful. Aprox 45 min nature walk. Johan was exceptional at reception and drove me around in their small shuttle bus. He took me down to the bus ticket place to ensure i received the proper ticket to get back to MDE on time and that i was informed of the transfer from Guarne. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the hotel too and it was delicious and healthy. The hotel is rustic but gorgeous views, excellent location and the staff was amazing! I would definitely recommend for anyone spending a night or two in the area."
