"Conveniently located, 5 mins walk from the train station, but not very noisy which is nice. My room had a little balcony. But I gotta say, as a newly opened hotel and an IHG group hotel, I was very disappointed. First, I found a used bandage stuck on my “clean” towel, and the bathroom was poorly designed , with the half screen on the bathtub , I guarantee you would get water everywhere on the floor no matter how careful you are when taking a shower. The hotel & room is stylish, but as a hotel of 2 years old (according to the internet, the hotel opened in 2023), the bathroom is badly maintained , broken faucet which was temporarily fixed, rusts and stains everywhere, i guess also because of the poor selection of materials when it was designed, this all makes it look like a 20 year old hotel. The first morning I had breakfast, I went really early, it was nice and quiet, I thought the spread was good and not bad in taste & quality. But the 2nd morning I went at 9ish, tables were not cleaned , the hash browns were rock-hard. And we saw other guests having different breakfast items that were not in the buffet, so I asked the staff if there were other options, and not until then we were told each guests can order 1 item each from the ala carte menu with no cost, we were not informed about this and I think guests deserves to know they have options… i guess that’s how they treat tourists ….. or just how they treat Asians….. so if you stay here, be sure to ask for the menu if you want alternatives for your breakfast."

"The receptionists and luggage-storage staff were all friendly and helpful. Although this is a hostel rather than a hotel, we still had a great experience over our expectation. We booked a double bed room with private bathroom, the facilities in the room were limited but it was clean and had a balcony. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, we could see the dome of the Florence Cathedral and beautiful sunset - an absolutely delightful surprise."

"This hotel is very clean and new. Staffs was so kind and helpful too. On the second day of our stay, we had a problem with the hot shower in both of our rooms and only managed to get the problem fixed at night. Due to that, they compensated us free breakfast as a service recovery for my family the next day. We enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel. However the parking in this hotel is so limited that we almost didn’t get parked our car in the hotel. We weee told that if no parking spaces available, we had to find a blue lot to park outside the hotel area. So far we were lucky enough to get the parking lot inside the hotel."

"It’s a nice hotel, very accessible & near the Firenze SMN station. The room was ready earlier than check in time. Our room was spacious, clean & beautiful. The only hiccup was checking in. "We had a very solid stay at Hotel Grifone. A pretty large, comfortable, and clean room, with a balcony even. It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated the free flavored waters and teas/snacks/mimosas provided in the lobby - was a lovely surprise.
The hotel is in a very residential area, so it's pretty quiet at night. Does take around 25 minutes by bus to get there from the old town area, but they came relatively regularly (the signs posted on the stops were hit-or-miss on accuracy - the buses usually ran late).
Signora Helena on the breakfast team was truly the sweetest person we met during our entire 2 week trip around the country of Italy. She always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service (remembering that we have yogurt every morning and bringing it to us without us asking by the third day of our stay, checked in about what coffee we wanted, and more!). We really loved her, and it made our mornings brighter to see her! The front desk staff were all excellent as well! Super professional and answered questions about Florence and the hotel with ease."

Room is spacious and comfortable. Free minibar for 1st round. Also have drips coffee and tea. The surrounding of this hotel is very instagramable. The staff are also friendly. The hotel is closed to duomo, ponte Vechcio and many point of interest. Shopping is also close by. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is in an excellent location on the side of a bridge from Ponte Vecchio, the structure is distributed in an ancient palace and some rooms are quite remote.
The rooms are not large but are furnished with style and comfortable, with a discreet breakfast. I am sorry that I had a room without darkness and a tent with a strange justification, it was replaced without too many problems but the circumstance should not have come up."

"Lovely hotel with lovely people on it. Very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is very nice, clean and spacious, plus we get upgraded to a room with balcony. Bathroom very spacious too. The hotel area was also nice and save if you happen to walk home late. A bit of a walk from the train station but not far, just 10-15mnts walk. Breakfast was very nice too and they got outdoor rooftop too for breakfast. Would love to come back to this hotel on our next visit. Very reccomended."

XXDLiuFacilities: The room is not big, but very comfortable. The hotel building has nothing to do with Brooks. The interior design is very comfortable. The hotel has two restaurants, Michelin 2 stars! I ordered a dish that was really good.
Hygiene: clean
Environment: convenient. In the old center of Florence, 5 minutes between the Dome and the Town Hall. 15 minutes walk to the train station. Also relatively quiet.

IISTP遊記I booked this hotel for myself and my family. We really appreciate the friendly service from the staff throughout our stay. The building itself is gorgeous and is located within a few minutes walk from the Firenze SMN train station.
We stayed in two two-bed rooms. One of which was big with a walk-in closet. However the other one was small and we could hear the water pipes at night. Sound isolation was also not great as we could hear laughter from the guests staying next door. Would recommend this hotel to travellers who look for a central location and do not mind hearing some noise from pipes or guests chattering at night.

HHaruki FengThe location was perfect. Less than 10mins walk from the Florence S.M.Novella station and less than 5mins walk from Piazza del Duomo. The room was clean and capable. Spaces are enough for two big suitcase to be opened at the same time.
One thing to complain was when we arrive at the hotel for check-in. The front desk couldn't find my reservations. I told the women in-charge that I booked the room from trip.com but she keeps saying I booked it from *********** where she couldn't find my reservation. At the end she end up finding and said : I don't know why your booking has been cancelled.
Fourtunately, another staff showed up. His attitude was way better and asked me not to worry even if my reservation was cancelled they still have spare room for us.
At the end he made it to find our reservation and we did our check-in.
Overall, the experience during the stay was good. Besides from the little accident during check-in, I would like to stay in this hotel again when I visit Firenze again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new and in a great location. It seems popular with young people and offers plenty of entertainment options beyond just accommodation. The staff were all very friendly. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Foshan.

Got upgraded to a junior suite room with very spacious room and two beds (with one bed being sofa bed but still good). Very bright and tidy bathroom. Downside is the cleanliness is not to my expectation (some ashes on the staircase in the room and near the coffee machine) and the air-conditioner is too cold even though we have asked the receptionist to help switch off the air conditioner. Breakfast is a bit expensive (€28 pp from what I remember) so we didn’t get a chance to try but it seems that the breakfast is served in a very beautiful area.

MMinghaizhichengThis hotel is absolutely fantastic – a definite must-stay when in Florence! The room facilities were excellent, and the lobby offered complimentary drinks. We also enjoyed the table tennis, swings, and super comfortable chairs. The rooftop bar boasts breathtaking, unbeatable night views, meaning you don't even need to go to the main square to admire the Florence Cathedral. They even have a photo booth on-site, though unfortunately, it was out of order during our visit, which was a bit of a pity.

A well-stocked supermarket is conveniently located just 300 meters away, so we were able to buy steak and fish and cook them ourselves in the apartment. The apartment also features a small garden, perfect for unwinding with an evening drink – it was incredibly relaxing! The embassy is also very close by, which is worth a quick visit. Along the way, there's a charming small park where you can sit and feed the pigeons, which was truly delightful!

AAnonymous UserPros: While we checking in there was someone carrying luggage for us to our room, there was a bottle of wine and two small bottle of water as complimentary for the first night.
Location is near to S.M. Novella Station and bus station so it's a perfect.
Breakfast was a 4 star standard and the taste more or less the same throughout my trips in 3 different hotels so no complain.
Cons: the shower pressure was really small and the heater inside the room was not working, after the first night experience we asked the front desk the next morning if they could check for us but ended up the shower pressure was really small, if there is a measurement lowest from 1 to highest 5, the pressure was definitely 1. So we aren't sure if they did send someone to check or not but one thing for sure they never update us after that and the heater switch remains the same as before I complained. It was really cold.
One evening around 7pm - 8pm as the hotel is actually located kinda like an alley and bit darker so a guy was suspiciously following us at our back and we have to almost run back to our hotel and while we ran he speed up as well so it's really scary better not to be alone walk back hotel.
Overall, location and breakfast are good. Service could be improved imo.
