Florence Hotels with Gym

We walked directly from the train station to the hotel, and it wasn't far at all. The hotel is very close to the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), to the point where you can see it as soon as you step outside. The surrounding area is very convenient, with supermarkets and plenty of restaurants. You need to use a key card to enter the hotel lobby, and the area feels quite safe. Florence isn't a very large city, so most major attractions are within walking distance. The downside is that the room was a bit small; we could only keep our suitcase by the door and couldn't leave it fully open. Breakfast was pretty standard: bread, bacon, yogurt, milk, and juice.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and by contacting our Ctrip concierge, we were fortunate enough to receive a free upgrade to a better room. The view from the window was fantastic, directly overlooking the Florence Cathedral. The hotel's location is also exceptionally convenient; Piazza del Duomo is downstairs, and Piazza della Signoria is just a few minutes' walk away, making it close to all the major attractions. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay and I highly recommend it!

I love my stay here in the social hub, recommend everyone esp for solo female traveller! Pros - good location next to tram station (very impt) - theres a cafe inside the hotel which is a gd place for breakfast and hotel - thankyou maria for helping me check-in, she was the only staff in the hotel who showed great hospitality and kindness which made my stay confortable - 24/7 gym! But air ventilation has room for improvement - the rooftop area was so big, with good vibes good views and a bar. (Pool was not available during my stay) - room was clean and well furnished

I checked in on my birthday, and they surprised me with champagne 🥂 and a cake 🍰. Sometimes hotels just win you over with these little, thoughtful details. Even though I paid a hefty €110 for parking, it doesn't stop me from giving you five stars! 👍

The location is fantastic, right by the train station. Just be aware it's tucked away in a courtyard, so keep an eye out for the entrance. Service was excellent; they were incredibly helpful with our luggage, even bringing it directly to our room. Our suite was wonderful. Despite its historical character, it was exceptionally well-maintained, offering a genuine feel of a grand European family home. A good selection of snacks and drinks were provided. The bathtub was a welcome amenity, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Big plus! Our room was named 'Mona Lisa'.

The hotel's overall environment is excellent, and the location is superb. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the central train station, or two bus stops away, which is incredibly convenient. The staff are attentive and enthusiastic. The rooftop offers fantastic panoramic city views. The room size is quite small, and the price is relatively high.

The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious. The check-in instructions were clear. The noise from the street was disturbing. Even with the window closed, you can hear the sound of every passing tram. It is no coincidence that earplugs were prepared, although they cannot improve the vibration caused by the passing tram much. And a personal note. In my previous booking, at other accommodations, the host's communication - despite the fact that there is no personal meeting - usually includes some kindness and personal attention. This was not the case here, although it would have been nice.

I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend the Anglo American Hotel to travelers seeking a centrally located, well-appointed hotel with a charming ambiance in Florence.
