Florence Hotels with Gym

"Overall, absolutely fantastic with an unbeatable location. Just a heads-up on the soundproofing and corridor design. We had a wonderful time celebrating our honeymoon at the Rivoli Boutique Hotel in Florence! First off, I have to praise their service – the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, always happy to help with any request. The biggest surprise was that the hotel, knowing it was our honeymoon, thoughtfully upgraded us to a deluxe room for free. That truly earned them major bonus points! The hotel's location is also superb. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, which was a huge relief for us with heavy luggage, as the route is short and flat. The street where the hotel is located felt very safe at night, and there are many restaurants with different styles right downstairs, so finding food was never an issue. Breakfast was pretty good too, and both the rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean and felt newly renovated. However, there are a few minor points for improvement I'd like to mention. We stayed on the second floor, and while there's an elevator, the buttons seemed a bit temperamental – sometimes it took a long time to respond, and it occasionally skipped our floor entirely. Also, the corridor after exiting the elevator is quite narrow, and to reach some rooms, you even have to go up and down two steps. This could be a bit awkward if you have heavy luggage. What bothered us the most was actually the poor soundproofing in the room. The electronic sound from the door lock was very loud when operated, and it seemed like the vibration damping wasn't great because whenever the neighboring room closed their door, we'd feel a significant vibration and hear a loud noise. We were even woken up by neighboring doors opening and closing at 7 AM. Furthermore, the walls between rooms seemed quite thin, as we could clearly hear conversations and objects being moved next door. Aside from the soundproofing and the luggage handling routes, the hotel's service, cleanliness, and location are truly exceptional. If you're not sensitive to noise, this is definitely a perfect place to stay!"

"I would give this hostel a perfect score if it weren't for its location. The living conditions are ideal; the beds are even more comfortable than those in a hotel. The only issue was that the air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted, making me feel a bit chilly at night. The staff were very helpful, and the lobby was clean and cozy. However, this hostel feels more like a hotel than a traditional hostel because there's no communal kitchen. You can use a card to operate the washing machine and dryer, though. There's a study area, and it seems you can even book yoga classes and other activities. If, like me, you prefer to stay closer to the city center, this might not be the perfect choice, as the nearby bus route 17 is often delayed or unreliable. But if you prioritize a comfortable living experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"First off, great crew at the front desk. Whether it’s answering my calls requesting the ironing board, or calling a cab for me the day of my departure, they were always available and willing to help. The issue is they might have overdone it in one instance when I put a note on the room door before leaving asking not to be disturbed and came back to see someone had gotten into my room, changed sheets and towels + “arranged” my stuff. Nice intention but got me confused looking for certain things. The gym was also a little disappointing: tiny, very limited equipment and only fit for one person at a time. It’s really a space to do yoga and stretch, with one treadmill. But it helped nonetheless. The real elephant in the room was the location. I found this hotel looking for a place in Florence and this is very misleading from the booking platforms. The city is Prato, there are no Ubers, public transit tricky to navigate (walk 10-15 minutes + take 2 buses and a train to get to Florence in a trip that totals 1h30 min on average) and taxis are rare + expensive (the cheapest I paid was 50€ for a 13 min trip to the airport). Not to mention most taxi drivers are clearly scamming you because they know you’re desperate, turning off their meters and asking you to pay cash. Overall, not my most memorable experience and would only recommend if you’re staying in Prato. If you plan to visit Florence and are tempted to book a cheaper hotel north of the city, think twice."

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. Don't book too far in advance. Two or three days beforehand is enough. I initially booked two months ahead and it was too expensive. The location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the train station. There's also a bus station a minute away where you can catch a bus to Siena. The hotel's style is quite nice. I booked two different room types, and even the standard rooms were great."

"Environment: Old Qian Villa Manor Hotel has two main buildings and several courtyard suites, with a helipad nearby. The rooms and lobby are furnished with old wooden furniture, porcelain, and oil paintings. Cleanliness: It's an old house, but it's very well-maintained, and the cleanliness is good. Service: The front desk, restaurant, and room service staff are all very enthusiastic, especially the bellhop. We arrived at the hotel at 12 PM, and it was raining outside. After the front desk completed all the procedures, due to a language barrier, I only understood that the front desk said check-in was at 2 PM. However, the bellhop took our luggage and gestured for us to follow him. He escorted us all the way to our room, then showed us how to get power. When I said I didn't have a room key, he gave us his key to use for power. So, we inexplicably checked in at 12 PM. A little while later, a girl knocked on our door to deliver our room key and retrieve the bellhop's temporary card. It felt quite heartwarming, especially since we were traveling with elderly parents and children, plus two large pieces of luggage. We had no idea where we would wait for two hours, especially since there's nothing around the hotel. The hotel's dining is also excellent, as you can see from the pictures."

"A modern hotel located in the old town. Very close to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Ponte Vecchio. The suite has two bathrooms and the sofa in the living room can be used as a double bed. A good choice for family travel. There is a cloakroom with comfortable furnishings. You can choose to have breakfast in the glass room in the yard, and the semi-self-service options are very rich. Love everything about Florence~"
