HanTing Hotel (Yinchuan Helan Kaiyang Square) ★★★

📍 1st Floor, Kaiyang Plaza, Ju'an West Road, Xigang Town, Helan

"Living in Hanting feels pretty good this time. The room is not big, but it is clean and comfortable. The bed is OK, not too soft or too hard, not disturbed at night, sleep enough to have the spirit to go shopping the next day. The hot water in the bathroom comes quickly, the water temperature is stable, although the toiletries are simple but enough, it is very convenient to not bring a bunch of things by yourself. The front desk clerk was very good, and the check-in and check-out were very fast. I asked what to eat nearby and patiently said, and I would not be impatient. The price is also right, I feel worth the money when I live, and I may choose here next time I come here."

YingNong Wine Estate ★★★

📍 South of Xuyu Jinshan Winery, Northwest Side of Hongliugou, Jinxin Village, Hongguang Town, Helan

"The environment was wonderful, the rooms were very clean, and the view from the window overlooked a vineyard. There was even a treehouse in the vineyard – a very relaxing place to stay next time. The hotel has a large terrace for dinner, where you can play your favorite music, watch the sunset over the Helan Mountains, and enjoy wine and food with friends – very comfortable! At night, you can see a beautiful starry sky. This is definitely a guesthouse worth staying at again! The breakfast was also delicious, simple but tasty. I'll come back with friends when the grapes are ripe."

Yinchuan Helan Anmo Hotel ★★★★★
"This hotel boasts a fantastic design, seamlessly blending local characteristics with luxury. From its wine-red facade, reminiscent of the Helan Mountains' red rock, to the corkscrew-shaped spiral staircase and the omnipresent wine barrel elements, everything contributes to this unique aesthetic. The view from the landscape rooms is particularly stunning, offering direct panoramic views of the Helan Mountains. You can even enjoy breakfast and afternoon tea while gazing at the mountains – a truly breathtaking and exclusive experience. It's an ideal place to stay if you're visiting nearby wineries, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. However, its isolated location and limited activities can lead to boredom if you stay too long. For instance, the swimming pool closes at 8 PM, and the restaurant and bar also shut down around the same time. There are no delivery services available, and nowhere to stroll around (taxis are hard to find, and you can't drive yourself if you've been drinking)."

YingNong Wine Estate ★★★
"The room is incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy, with a wide selection of wines. The environment is quiet and peaceful. It's a shame it's still too early in the season; the vineyard doesn't have grapes yet, and the apple and pear trees haven't bloomed."

Stray Birds × Weixu Helan Nomadic Camp ★★★★
"Have stayed at several Feitengji hotels and never been disappointed. The tent rooms in the camp are well-detailed, with a washlet and a small bag of cute laundry detergent by the sink. The bedside table not only has tea bags, but also cold brew tea bags. There is a small yard outside the room. It is very comfortable to read e-books in the morning and evening with cool breeze. The meal combines the delicacies of various places, which is a pleasant surprise for us who are not used to roast lamb in Northwest China. So I just ate all three meals in the camp. By the way, we visited the Xiamu Winery next to the lower camp. It is said that the owner is an architect and making wine is his hobby. Sitting by the campfire in the evening, chatting and tasting wine with tourists from all over the world, I feel that this is a wonderful leisure time."
