The cooked breakfast was donevto order and was delious perfectly cooked and presentation was excellant. Just wanted to say thank you to the staff working on mothers day. 5* service excellant will definately be goung again. Excellan value for money."

"On arrival we were allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms at the far end of the hotel. Everything was brand new, and the lovely smell of new carpet greeted us. The remote for the TV didn’t work, there was no way of contacting reception from the room, no phone number. We trekked back to reception to be given new batteries. TV remote still didn’t work, back to reception we went to be given three more remotes to try which none of them worked. In the end we gave up. Also the LED light on the smoke alarm above bed flashed so bright we found it hard to sleep. We can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat in the hotel but the dining room did look very small. Overall satisfactory for a one night stay."

"We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Sheila in particular is exceptionally well mannered. Old fashioned politeness. The fixtures and fittings are all of a good quality. The carpets are plush. The food is very tasty. The choice of food is very wide. Steve and Sheila are on hand throughout the day to help with enquiries. The garden is delightful. I particularly commend this establishment for having a Holy Bible in our room. Other places are less prone to let the guests decide for themselves whether or not to read this great book. All in all we are very pleased."

"My son & I had spent the day making a sword at a local forge. We were exhausted upon arrival and sadly due to poor signal in the area were unable to contact the B&B. Lorraine had stayed up late to welcome us, and the spacious, warm, comfortable room was just perfect for two tired wannabe blacksmiths. Breakfast was everything we could've wished for too. Cereals and fresh fruit galore. Cooked breakfast to follow with freshly brewed coffee, both made to order and delicious. If we're ever back in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return. We recommended it to Oldfield Forge too as it's only around 5 miles (15 min drive) away. Everything here far exceeded the usual "B&B" expectations. So many are literally spare rooms in overly large houses offered as accommodation, with Kellog's mini boxes left on the side for breakfast and soggy bacon with droopy sausages to follow. This blew away the B&B preconception and provided a hotel-class stay."

"What a wonderful looking place on their website !!! That's where it ends ,in reality it is NOTHING like the website ,it was the FILTHIEST place you could imagine and then some . When i finally found the owner (no other staff ever seen) she ASSURED me she would have the room thoroughly cleaned in my absence the following day ,It was on this upstanding that i agreed to stay. The first night ,I borrowed clean bedding from the relative i was visiting. Upon our return the next night after a function we found the room in the same state .Do not be fooled by the sweet little old lady she is nothing but a deceitful con artist how takes £150 and gives you a urine stained mattress, the same sheets from the previous occupant, a carpet you dare not take your shoes off to step on ,slugs crawling up the bathroom walls ,dried urine and filth on the bathroom floor ,lights that don't work, hair dryer that sparks, black mould over the bathroom ceiling and over all ghe grouting , curtains hanging with cobwebs and big black spiders ,every light fitting hanging with dust ,a four poster bed with thick black dust dropping on to the pillow. Kettle with black mould in the lid , window frames with white mould fungus growing on them , and a breakfast consisting of a dead croissant and a black banana ,uht yog and juice . This place should be shut down by environmental health , she is a disgrace to the beautiful city of Hereford."
