"You can tell everything from the photos. The first picture was taken right after we checked into our room. The second one shows the guesthouse from viewpoint No. 2, which is within walking distance; our room was on the third floor. The third photo was taken from outside on the ground floor of the guesthouse, and it honestly looks even better in person. It was raining when we arrived, and the mountain mist in the morning gave it a unique charm. We communicated with the guesthouse via WeChat a few days before our arrival, and it was by far the best communication experience we've had with any accommodation during our self-driving trip in Guizhou. The host even drove to pick us up and drop us off at the scenic spot entrance, and communication was very smooth. The guesthouse has only been open for a few months, so all the facilities are complete, very new, and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent; the tourist shuttle stop is just a few steps away. It's only one stop by shuttle bus to viewpoint No. 1, which offers the best overall view of the terraced fields, making it incredibly convenient. What truly stood out was their exceptional service. My husband had been caught in the rain a few days prior and developed a fever after checking in. The guesthouse staff were incredibly kind and helped us buy medicine, cooked noodles, and even made congee. Their service was truly heartwarming. I rarely leave reviews for hotels or guesthouses, but I wholeheartedly recommend this place!"

"Lady boss accommodated my multiple transport arrangement requests and provided recommendations to eat and to explore the village. Very patient, helpful and even offered me a boiled egg to go before I catch my train. Insisted on helping me to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs even though it's heavy and more than half her size. Accommodation is basic but more than sufficient for a lodging in a relatively small remote village area, towels, toothbrushes, body wash and shampoo provided. Western toilet and hot running water. Central location and close to the supermart and Souvenir area. Cosy guesthouse and most importantly, spectacular view! Very quaint and peaceful stay. If you're sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs as it's a wooden house so you can feel and hear movements, as well as chickens cooing in the morning, which didn't affect me. I absolutely love this place!"

"Viewpoint No. 6 is the best spot for watching the sunrise and has a high vantage point; it's not far from the guesthouse as you walk up the street. Locals prefer to build their houses with cedar wood because it needs proper moisture control, as brick walls are prone to mold. While it may not be soundproof, it offers a genuine wooden cabin experience. The most amazing thing was the food. The owner's motto is ”whatever's available, we'll eat,” with freshly caught and prepared fish with quick and skillful movements. In the morning, we told the owner we wanted rice paddy fish, and he went to catch them himself that morning. In the evening, we had a free-range chicken (one chicken and two portions), and when we asked what we wanted for the next day, he recommended loach. After dinner, he went to catch loach himself. The owner will also help you prepare various dishes and soups, so order with confidence and reasonable prices. The rice paddy fish had clean bellies without any black membrane. This is a natural ingredient you can't find in cities or towns. The air was fresh and clean; even after rain, my glasses dried without any residue. The owner's diligence and reliability inspired trust. After two days of enjoying beautiful scenery and delicious food, I experienced the wonderful mountains, clear water, fresh air, and friendly people. Parking is free for those driving. The scenic area has shuttle buses that run every 15 minutes to take people to six viewing platforms and the spiral terraces. I visited the mirror-like terraces (viewing platform No. 1) in April or May, and I want to come back in September to see the autumn harvest scenery. It's truly a heavenly place."

"I heard good things about this terraced field guesthouse nestled in the mountains, and my stay truly exceeded expectations – I just have to rave about it! Pushing open the French windows in my room, I was greeted by an immediate view of the layered, natural terraced fields. Lush green rice seedlings snaked along the mountain contours, and in the distance, traditional Dong wooden houses were scattered across the hillsides. The entire mountain range was enveloped by dense forests, and when the clouds and mist drifted over the mountaintops, it felt like stepping into a secluded paradise. The highlight was definitely the viewing bathtub in the bathroom. Soaking in the warm water, I could look up and see the sprawling terraced fields and the blue sky with white clouds. During the day, I basked in the warm sun, just relaxing. In the evening, I enjoyed a bath accompanied by the gentle mountain breeze, which cured all my fatigue. The guesthouse itself is a rustic wooden structure, and the vintage horse lamps hanging from the eaves added so much atmosphere. Walking around the courtyard, I often stumbled upon bayberry trees laden with fresh fruit; the natural, rural charm was palpable. There's no urban hustle and bustle nearby. In the mornings, I woke up to the sound of birds in the forest, and a stroll along the field paths offered an up-close experience of rural farming life. In the evenings, I sat on the terrace, quietly watching the sunset paint the distant mountains. The owner and staff were incredibly simple, kind, and attentive, paying attention to every detail. While preserving the village's original, natural character, the facilities were clean and comfortable. Far from the city's anxieties, here you can immerse yourself in the beautiful terraced landscapes of the countryside while enjoying a comfortable and peaceful accommodation. It's perfect for unwinding and relaxing or for a short trip. It's already on my list for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape to the mountains!"

"I took my little one to fulfill my grandfather's dream of seeing the last place where sex is legal. Unexpectedly, we met a beautiful and kind Miao girl (the guesthouse owner), and even more unexpectedly, such a beautiful guesthouse in such a place! The hotel towels smelled wonderful, the scenery was amazing, and the air was sweet. The owner's friend even brought some incredibly beautiful fireworks! The food at the restaurant next door was so delicious that my daughter and grandfather ate three bowls of rice, and my grandmother and I ate two bowls. The price was incredibly cheap. If you drive, you need to make a reservation one day in advance and give your license plate to the hotel owner for registration. The drive from the service center to the hotel is about 20 minutes, so driving is recommended for convenience. The owner built and renovated the house himself. The room is spacious and clean. The room has natural light on both sides, and the view is very expansive. In October, the sun started to rise around 6:00 a.m. The hotel offers dining options. Dinner and lunch are served at the hotel, and the owner cooks his own meals. Recommended dishes include fish, chicken, and bacon, all local specialties. The rice wine is also very good."

"This was a very satisfying stay! The owners of Yunshuijian Hotel, along with their daughter and son, were incredibly welcoming and polite. When I arrived, it was already dark, and they came out to greet me on the road in front of the hotel. The hotel had just opened, so all the facilities, equipment, and bedding were new and very clean! They proactively asked if I was satisfied with the room arrangement and let me choose my room freely. They also proactively explained the Jiabang Rice Terraces tour itinerary and provided transportation information, allowing me to visit viewing platforms 1-6 in half a day! I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Yunshuijian Hotel; there were noodles and stir-fries, all of which were delicious. It is not on the main street of the noisy village, but is directly ”packed” by the stacked terraces. It was a wonderful feeling, as if it had strayed into a small, isolated kingdom. What is the biggest highlight? Separate house! It is too difficult to find a really private space this year. What amazes me most is that its location can't even ride a bicycle, it has to walk for a few minutes, don't get me wrong, this is not complaining, this is boasting about it! What does this mean? It means that the noise outside, the noise of tourists, and even the sound of passing electric car horns are all isolated. Here, this is your own paradise. "Jiabang should be the most satisfying part of my trip to Guizhou, and it is also the only place I have been to that has not been commercialized. After reading a lot of guides online, Lianghua was the B&B I was most looking forward to staying in, and I was not disappointed. I like the design style of the room. Lianghua is more suitable for people like us who have lived in noisy and busy cities for a long time and want to find a quiet place to watch the scenery and be in a daze. Although you have to walk a short distance after getting off the sightseeing bus, you can have a panoramic view of all the beautiful scenery and it is all worth it. The boss was away on a business trip when I went there, but I could feel his enthusiasm from the beginning to the end of the reservation. The housekeeper is also very good. "We stayed here during a long road trip. The hotel's location is excellent, within a ten-minute drive of the highway exit, so you don't have to take a long detour and can reach it quickly after exiting the highway. The hotel is newly renovated, with brand-new and clean facilities, and no musty smell. All the bedding in the room was new, and the sheets were soft and dry, making for a very comfortable sleep.
