KKLLUAbsolutely loved this hotel! It was spotless and very tidy. The room design was simple yet functional, perfect for a family with kids as we could easily do some light cooking. The area around the hotel is lively and great for shopping. Plus, it's only about a 10-minute walk to the beach.

I stayed on the back side of the building so I couldn't see the scenery. But above all, the comfort of the room and the location are the best! The kitchen utensils were perfectly prepared and helpful. Cleaning is not included, but you can contact the towel. The correspondence of the staff is also very good! I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Fabulous boutique hotel. Thought of all the little things to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were very polite and friendly. Great shower pressure, bed was comfortable and air con fantastic. We had a room on the 3rd floor and unfortunately we could smell one of the burger restaurants frying food each morning, which was not pleasant. Not the hotels fault, but it’s something to bear in mind if you’re given a lower floor.
Rooftop pool is small but a nice extra if you don’t fancy the beach.
Close to everything; restaurants, shops, beach.
Would definitely stay again!

JohanRTI have no complaints at all - this might be the perfect resort at this price point.
Check-in was smooth, the rooms are excellent (albeit maybe a bit on the small side for three persons, and we did miss not having a barhtub), the view excellent (description said “ocean view” and it was better than expected, even from the Pacific Tower), restaurants both great.
The location is perfect, just a few min walk from the Royal Hawaiian Center; and the hotel has its own /small/ beach with really a good view of the sunset.
Big shoutout to the very friendly staff at Monkeypod Kitchen as well as the poolside Towel Hut!
Would revisit without a doubt!

Close to the bus stop and quiet without noisy restaurants around.
There is a pool right next to the front desk, and it seems that exercise events are also held. There was a guitar and a song performance at night, and the atmosphere was very good. I was a little worried that I could see it.
The hot water in the shower felt a little lukewarm, but it is acceptable because it is not water because it is common overseas. I didn't have a chair in the room, so I put the chair on the balcony inside and sat.
There is no toothbrush in the amenities. There is no pot or PET bottle water, but there is a water and hot water server on the first floor (I bring a mobile pot so there is no problem)
I was free to drink coffee and tea in the morning.
The hotel in Waikiki is very expensive, so it is beautiful and the staff is friendly and the Waikiki Shopping Plaza is within walking distance.

Anonymous UserThis was a wonderful hotel! I think it offers great value for money.
First off, the room was a two-room suite with a separate living room and bedroom. The two double beds were spacious and comfortable. The mini-kitchen had a sink, kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom had a standard American-style shower and a shallow bathtub. Toothbrushes were not provided.
The breakfast menu didn't change much day-to-day, but the custom-made omelets were delicious. It can get a bit crowded around 9 AM on weekends, but it's manageable.
During happy hour in the evening, guests received two complimentary alcoholic drinks per person per day. Two of the cocktails could also be made non-alcoholic. In addition, there was a free drink bar and snacks (crackers and vegetables like cucumbers and celery), which were perfect for a light bite. We were also allowed to bring our own food, so we often enjoyed takeout from nearby while sipping our happy hour drinks.
The happy hour and breakfast venue is the same, located poolside. This would be great for families with children, as they can enjoy the pool while taking advantage of happy hour.
They also provide beach towels by the poolside for guests heading to the beach or pool.
Incidentally, we arrived at the hotel before noon this time, having taken an ANA flight. We were able to check in early without an early check-in fee! (Perhaps because it was off-peak season?) This was incredibly helpful as we were sleep-deprived.
Waikiki Beach is about a 5-minute walk through the Sheraton. It felt a bit confusing to find at first, but once we got used to it, it was no problem.
The nearest W LINE bus stop is just over a 5-minute walk away. It's a minor detail but wasn't an issue.
Right in front of the hotel is an ABC STORE DELI, which operates from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM and also serves fast food, making it very convenient.
Although our room wasn't ocean view, we could see the ocean from the outdoor stairwells on each floor, which was lovely. Ultimately, since we spent most of our time in the hotel either sleeping or at night, I don't think an ocean view was essential, haha. The balcony was nice for getting some fresh air.
There's a water dispenser on the first floor, which is convenient for refilling water anytime. Each floor also has an ice dispenser and vending machines.
If I had to pick a con, it would be that the elevators sometimes took a while to arrive.
I highly recommend this hotel for families due to the spacious rooms! The value for money was excellent, so I encourage you to stay here.

During check-in, the staff mocked my lack of English, laughing and making gestures at other staff members, which I found unpleasant. While all explanations were in English, the departure was in Japanese, so I assumed they understood everything. Upon check-out, I was surprised to see a payment of $1,347.40. After returning home, I called Trip.com and they handled the matter, refunding me $1,030.61. However, they had deducted a $316.79 service charge and other charges that were not included in my travel application. The hotel only sent me a receipt by email, with no apology. The staff member who checked me in and checked me out was the same, so I assumed they knew I didn't speak English before making the payment. It was a shame that my trip was so frustratingly disrupted by the hotel's front desk service.

Anonymous UserFor our recent trip to Hawaii, we chose the Poolside Suite at Wayfinder Waikiki — and it was such a great choice.
The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a tropical, laid-back style, and had direct access to the pool right from the terrace. It honestly felt like our own private villa!
The pool area is small but super stylish and peaceful — perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee. ☕️
The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the whole vibe of the hotel felt very local and welcoming.
One thing to note: it’s a little bit of a walk from the main strip of Waikiki, but that also means it’s quieter and more relaxing.
If you’re looking to enjoy both the beach and a cool hotel experience, this is a great place to stay!
