"This place is a bit old, but it's well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the view is great. Most importantly, the hot water and electricity are stable (the WiFi is a bit slow, but topping up my Airtel 3G only cost 40 INR). The staff are friendly (Paras Lakshay and the chefs). I originally planned to stay one night but ended up extending my stay! 😎😎 It's only a 15-20 minute walk to the market and nearby Palchan. 👍👍 If you really want KFC or Domino's, it's a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi ride. The accommodation management is simple; you can just chill out all day without leaving the property. You can order food via WhatsApp and have it delivered to your room, which is perfect for relaxing or for tired travelers. 😎😎 If you're coming from another city to Old ***ali/Volvo bus stand, the taxi fare can be a bit expensive, ranging from 700-1000. If you have time, you can ask about shared taxis, which cost around 50-100. 💰💰 A town worth revisiting! ❤️❤️"

"My stay started with a big smile of the guy at the reception. He was very kind. As all staff is great. Good quality beds and mattresses in the dorms. Free drinking water and wifi. You must download the hostels app to open your room and locker (by Bluetooth) but it worked fine. Location pretty good, only about 3km to Kasol. If you don't have your own transport, there are often buses. I recommend this hostel to other backpackers."
