It's also easy to travel to surrounding cities and counties from here. The hotel has 7 floors, so it's not too big, which makes it pretty quiet. The windows can be opened for ventilation. "Stayed in 2 different rooms. The 1st day room was awful on 9th floor. The bed was super hard like spring mattress with no give especially when sleeping sideways. The bathroom was old and dirty bathtub and the carpet was icky. Asked for a room change as I can't stand the room and I'm a pretty tolerant person. Luckily they offered 7th floor room, much better and probably newer with electronic card key, fresher cleaner bathroom and comfier bed. The 2 rooms has the same room size."

"I recently stayed at the Tainan Wei-Yat Grand Hotel and found it to be incredibly clean, with well-maintained rooms and excellent amenities that made my stay comfortable. However, the location is a bit inconvenient. The nearest bus stop is an 8-minute walk away, with a limited timetable, making it challenging if you're coming from Tainan Station. Additionally, while the breakfast offered a variety of options, I found the food selection less delicious than advertised. I think their check in and check out time is very short. They start to check in at 3 pm and check out before 10 am. Overall, it's a great hotel if you're prepared for a bit of a commute and don't mind a simple breakfast."

"Got a single room with a private bathroom, and wow! After a lovely two weeks in Narita, Busan, Seoul, Macau, Taipei, and Kaohsiung, I never thought that Tainan would be my coziest stay, but it really was! My room was so spacious and clean, which was so great, since I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac about hotel sanitation. Spending my days wandering around Tainan and then coming home to the Red House, turning on a kdrama on the flat-screen TV, and drifting off to sleep on my comfy lil futon, genuinely might've been the highlights of my trip :) Great job, please keep it up!!!"

Breakfast set is sooooo delicious with different menu to choose from including vegetarian, staff are attentive & friendly, wlll definitely recommend to stay for a different experience.

The hotel included breakfast and dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out about dinner with a free drink per person, as I initially thought only breakfast was included. I highly recommend this hotel for foodies. However, be aware that the dinner menu primarily consists of late-night snack-style dishes, so you might need to grab a little extra of each item to feel full. The front desk staff were very friendly, and overall, it was a good experience!

The space is incredibly well-maintained, still clean and comfortable, with a great sense of design. The lobby atmosphere is so relaxing the moment you walk in. This time, I was able to appreciate every detail even more closely, from the lighting to the furniture arrangement, all very tasteful and perfect for a quiet retreat. The amenities are still top-notch and feel very safe to use. The staff are just as friendly and natural as before, making you feel like you've returned to a familiar place. The whole environment is quiet and very comfortable to stay in, ideal for slowing down. Choosing to stay here again really speaks to its quality and consistency, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

GGuest UserI chose to stay at the Sun Moon Inn as it was convenient for my visit to the Chimei Museum the following day. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious and hygienic. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful residential area, which was very pleasant. However, there were some minor imperfections: the carpet in the room had stains, and the top of the TV was covered in dust. These small details were a bit of a letdown. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

千千里之行始於足下The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the coach station. There's a large public hot spring bath, and the breakfast is decent enough to fill you up. The room itself is spacious, but toiletries are scarce; only plastic slippers are provided. Luckily, I brought my own slippers and bathing essentials. The biggest flaw, however, is a step at the entrance to the bathroom, which I accidentally tripped over when entering, causing my toe to become red and painfully swollen. It's a really poor design choice.
