"Myself and 3 friends stayed at Acteon for 3 nights in July. The rooms were clean, and we had a balcony with a good view of the port. However, we were slightly disappointed as we were told that we'd have a safe in the room (there wasn't) and the wifi was very temperamental, we had to sit on the floor right by the door to access it and they only give you 24 hour usage. Nevertheless, we were happy with the room and we were only a five minute walk from the port beach. The main town of Chora is only a short bus ride away (€1,60 per trip) and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. There is a large selection of restaurants to choose from very close by. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"We named this the Ios dungeon! And boy it was hell. Basically a hostel for the roughest people ever! First the room had the smallest hardest single beds! The bathroom was so dark you couldn’t see a thing and a rotten shower curtain! There were eyelashes on the floor, no cups at all in the room, and the hallway stunk of stale cigarettes! Also the cleaner on 2 occasions left the balcony door unlocked and wide open one time, which someone could have easily jumped up into!! Don’t stay here please unless you want to get awoken at 12am by yobs in the hallway for half an hour! Only good thing is you get a transfer from the port and back. The driver was lovely!"

"Probably this is the best hotel that we have stayed in this Europe trip. Staff members are very helpful, cheerful and considerate. They had a PowerPoint to go through with us at the check in. Very clear and welcoming introduction. 🤍they also offered a free upgrade for our room! So grateful! The room is so spacious and nicely decorated. They did housekeeping every day to change our beddings & provide toiletries! all the staff and clean ladies are so heartwarming and they genuinely want you to have the best stay in Ios island. We had the best vacation here! Highly recommended!"

"Staff was super helpful and kind; always smiling and helpful to all our questions. We were allocated at room at the top of the hill...steps could be a challenge especially when you carry your own luggage. The view though of Mylopotas beach from the top is rewarding. the room was simple still with a nice design. Bathroom was rather small but this was not an issue at all. The shower curtain is of very poor plastic that cannot be cleaned (most probably) and it was really dirty. Breakfast is not that great quality wise, considering that the island has its own production of various types of cheeses and of course the fact that your are on a Greek island you expect to find local produces with great flavors."

"Just returned from 6 nights here and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! So calm and relaxed, the pool area is lovely, the rooms are super clean - cleaned every day too by lovely maids. Beds at are comfy and room view was amazing. Breakfast was delicious & we had room service once which was great, and ate in the restaurant once - both delicious! All staff were welcoming and went above and beyond for us! Highly recommend!"

"Very close to the port which made it easy getting on and off the ferry. Jessica in reception was very friendly and helpful. It was a decent up hill walk to the centre but the bus was €2 and runs every 15 minutes to both Chora and Mylopotas. The hotel rooms were basic but very clean and the rooms have everything you could want."

"Myself, my partner and son first stayed in August 25, we were really pleased all round with the Sunrise so we booked for another 2 weeks in July 26 bringing 2 other families with us. All rooms have a fantastic view of Chora and the beautiful sunsets and were clean with a safe, coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The hotel is in a great location, close to the village so not relying on buses or taxis late at night and the added bonus of a free transfers from the port on arrival and going home. The pool area is lively and very convenient for your morning coffee, the kids enjoyed the pool most days. Thank you to Gali and the team for another great stay, will not hesitate to book again next time in Ios!"

"Spent a week here and if honest was disappointed in room it was not clean, it was dusty and grubby, and the bathroom plastic curtain needs binning the sink was dirty, I paid quite alot for this room and expected better. The cleaners sit on stairs watching stuff on their Phones and need to be careful what they say about females who walk past as I speak Greek and do not take kindly to being commented on. The bar man makes up the prices im sure and is not exactly the most friendly of people. Penelope front desk is lovely that's as far as I would go, one min staff say hi next min they walk past without looking. The young girl in breakfast room was rude to me one morning when I asked for a cup for ny coffee, she basically said wait, an never came back I went and got a coffee from the bar by pool but got charged. Would I return NO! "

"I would not hesitate to return to Hotel Petradi. Wish I could give this hotel 10* Everything was perfect comfy beds lovely bathroom balcony with a wonderful view. Good food especially the Greek salad 😊 Demetra Despina George and Alex all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome . Everyone was so friendly I felt at home and didn’t want to leave . Waking up each day to the view of Mylopotas beach and Aegean Sea was perfect. The hotel is midway between Chora and the beach but be sure to get the bus back from the beach as it’s quite a steep walk especially in the heat. Hope to see you all again soon I can’t wait to return !!"
