"Subject: Booking number: **************** pin code: 4798 On April 8, we booked an overnight stay from April 12 to 13 at the Campanile Hotel in Clermont Ferrand Sud - Issoire via Trip.com. We paid Trip.com €59.32. The next morning when checking out, we were informed that they had not received payment from Trip.com. I showed them my bank statement and the Check-in voucher, as well as the email confirmation from Trip.com from April 8 that the booking had been confirmed. I still had to pay for the overnight stay at €55.70. "Have stayed many times at this Ibis. Our recent stay was disappointing. Receptionist not welcoming. Spent much of his time on his phone, playing games or smoking outside. There was no white wine available. It sits next door to a large Carrefour. How difficult would it have been to buy a few bottles while awaiting delivery? Corner of duvet very grubby. Such a shame. It used to be a favourite."

"Well-located, air-conditioned hotel. The rest is way too expensive for the services provided (100 euros). The hotel needs to be renovated, with a small room without a bathroom (shower and sink). Only two towels. The bedding is uncomfortable and the soundproofing is poor. We do not recommend it."
