"A wonderful stay for a special occasion! We were in town for our son's graduation and found the Grand Kampar Hotel to be very convenient. The room was spacious enough for the family to get ready in our formal attire, and the air conditioning was nice and cold—perfect for the Malaysian weather. Checking in and out was fast. We’ll definitely stay here again if we visit Kampar!"

"It’s next to Newtown and has great access. Getting around Kampar can be difficult without a car, but you can go to restaurants and supermarkets by foot. Many places stay open late, which is really convenient. You can also have breakfast at a restaurant about a two-minute walk away. but, the room didn’t have enough lighting and felt quite dark and room is quite cramped. Also, check-in may take a bit longer for foreign guests."

"It was a great stay. Comfortable room within the town area of Kampar, all within a limited hotel budget. Although the corridor was a bit narrow, it was understandable as it allowed for more rooms to be accommodated. The ambient lighting in the room was bright, making it suitable for work, study, or relaxation. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience throughout the stay. Roadside public parking, where parking coupon is needed."

"This might be considered a no-frills hotel in big cities. But in small sleepy Kampar, it's the king of the hotel scene. We've stayed here a few times now. Cleanliness is mostly good, but this trip we found lots of long black hairs on the floor, bed, and even hanging from the drawer. One of the pillow has patches of yellowish brownish stains, we got a replacement which isn't much better. Housekeeping needs to improve. We could hear muffled sounds from our neighbors. Wife also felt that the hot water ran out too quickly while she was taking a shower."

"Enjoyed our stay and for food mostly we ate at Restoran P Ramlee next to the resort. Food is nice and surrounding is good for outdoor activity. Will come back again."

It is the perfect place to escape from busy city life and enjoy nature in a peaceful setting. There are also plenty of outdoor and countryside activities to experience, which added so much fun to our trip.The food was decent and enjoyable overall. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer fishing rod rental services, as it would be a great additional activity for guests and families.Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with excellent service and plenty to do."

"The room is old and smelly. Near to main road, it's noisy making it hard for us to sleep. Furthermore, someone or 'something' in the next room kept dragging the chair throughout the night"
