"Great facilities very clean and friendly staff. We arrived late and the details to access the accommodation was very easy."

"Our one bedroom apartment was comfortable and well set up, with a good kitchen, tables and chairs, settee, TV, free wi-fi, washing machine and microwave. The bed was firm and we found it easy to sleep. The place has excellent air-conditioning and overhead fans as well. On the downside, our unit was on a busy, noisy road. A word of caution for older travellers or younger ones with limited mobility: • The car park is in a central quadrangle with a fair walk to drag a suitcase. • There is a step at the front door but no handrail. • The shower has a high stepover and would not be practical for wheelchair users – I don’t know if there are disability accessible units in this group. • There are no grabrails in the shower cubicle which made me feel unsafe. Overall a satisfactory stay but I for one as an older traveller with a small mobility problem would appreciate the small modifications required to make the stay more enjoyable."

"Our stay was terrible and management would not even acknowledge us. We stayed over Xmas and first the smoke detector went of at 6 am Boxing Day so we asked for it to be fixed. Then imagine it going off the next night at 2am!! So much for a relaxing time. I know they will respond with some inane comment here to justify themselves but I suggest you try elsewhere for accommodation in Karratha."

"Not a bad hotel for a small town"

"We were passing through Karratha with friends and my husband decided he wanted to stay at this park as we used to live here in the 1980s.It wasnt good in those days and I was interested to see what had changed.NOTHING!!!!!It is still as grotty as it ever was.The front reception and shop area had improvements done but the park remained the same with the toilets and laundry being exactly as it was all those years ago but with a lick of paint.The door to the womens toilets didnt have a handle,just a gap and you pushed the door open.The toilets had broken toilet roll holders and dicky locks.The benches and showers were permanently stained red.The laundry had a few machines which were free to use so bonus points for that but you had to queue to use them.Very tight sites with you being very close to your neighbours.I would not stay here again but if you just want to be here for a night and drive into town for supplies ,it was ok.You are out of town and will need to unhook your van and drive in to do shopping and sight seeing.Pet friendly.Needs sooo much money spent on it to bring it up to standard.Our site had some grass but there was a stump in the middle of our annex where we put a milk crate over it so we didnt kick it"

"Had a pleasant stay at ibis styles. From the outside o was very hesitant but once got to rooms was very nice and modern. Nice pool area. The only down thing was the room had block out blinds, and the roller blinds didn’t fit the room properly so lights of light from the sun in the morning, but overall a great stay"

"Check in was the quickest I’ve had in years as the reception lady was on the ball. Parked straight outside the room, unloaded my bags in seconds and started work at the desk in the room. The bed was comfy, pillows were even more comfy, shower was hot and the towels were nice. There is a microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, electric hot plate and enough plates/cutlery to make a simple meal or reheat one if you need to. This was a real surprise and was very convenient. There were some small downsides: Aircon is a big clunker unit that sounds like a small truck has started up when it kicks in during the night. Toilet was dripping but I shut the bathroom door to fix that one! That’s it, the rest is good news. Location is perfect and you’ve got a sports bar, Indian, Burgers and cafes literally across the road. Sadly I didn’t get to look around the grounds at all, but I believe there’s a pool etc. This is now my favourite place in Karratha and I’ll be back for sure."
