"I booked this hotel for our 5-year anniversary, as we thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate, with a nice location, great views, and the chance to enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Since only garden-view rooms were available on Trip.com, we booked one, and I also mentioned in the notes that it was for our anniversary. While we weren’t expecting an upgrade, we were disappointed to find our room’s “view” was almost completely blocked by a large tree. For a special occasion, I had hoped for at least a small gesture or a nicer placement of the room. The restaurant staff were friendly, but it was clear they struggled when things got busy, which affected the overall dining experience. Finally, at checkout, we weren’t even asked how our stay was, which left us feeling undervalued as guests. For what was meant to be a memorable anniversary, the experience fell short of expectations."

"This motel just located 5 minutes walk to Echo Point Lookout (3 sisters) and information center. Seen like recently refurbished and room and bathroom look clean and new. Room has a fridge and microwave. Worth for the price to pay for this 3 star motel. The only thing is the mattress is very soft. Ample parking available and free guest self laundry. All good and happy for the stay."

"This was my second stay, a two-night weekend trip. The soundproofing isn't great, as I could hear conversations from the next room at night. Other than that, it was pretty good. It's convenient for getting around, and there's free parking if you're driving. You can even see a bit of red foliage from the balcony 🍁."

"The location is pretty good, about 10 minutes walk to Katoomba train station, 7 minutes walk to Aldi, Woolworths and an Asian grocery store. There’s a bus stop just outside the hotel which it has bus routes to Echo Point, Scenic World, Leura and other tourist attractions, including the Hop-On-Hop-Off tourist bus. The building itself is a little old (like most buildings in that area) but there’s heating (and cooling) facilities in the rooms. Can’t complain about anything for the price we paid for our twin room, except the sound proofing system could be a little better. Overall, quite happy with my stay."

"Hotel v nostalgic so the vibe v good. But it does not cater for the need of modern traveler who brings with him/her the diff IT gadgets . The IT support/pod/socket not enough and wifi not strong. The is no a desk when I need to use laptop to do something. I saw many young travelers visiting Blue Mountain and they must be v tecky. If would be good if hotel can upgrade on IT setup. Another thing on the cleanliness I see dusts on some surface .. not sure it’s deliberate to show it’s a vintage hotel ."
