"This hotel is near the airport in Brisbane, Australia. They also provide shuttles, which is very convenient. It is a two-story building, so if you are on the second floor, you can use the luggage elevator to carry your heavy luggage. Unlike hotels, there are no USB ports, so it is a good idea to bring an adapter to match the outlet shape in advance. I had a USB-A cable, so I was able to borrow the adapter from the TV and charge my iPhone. There is a supermarket, a subway, and a Goldstone (ice cream) store at the intersection of this building, so you can spend your time comfortably. You need to reserve the shuttle for the next day when you check in. I asked for the 6:45 shuttle and was able to enter the international airport at 7. To check out in the morning, just put your key in the post or hand it over to the shuttle. By the way, there are shuttles to the airport at 6:15, 6:45, 7:30, and 8:45. They will take you to domestic flights, then international flights. I had a very comfortable stay."

"The room was very clean, which was great. I had to leave early in the morning this time, so I didn't get to have breakfast. As a solo female traveler, having the toilets and showers on the same floor as the men made me feel a little uneasy. In particular, I was concerned about the large gap at the bottom of the shower room door, making it visible from the outside. I thought it was great that it was close to the station, but since the train service was infrequent, I ended up taking a taxi. (I wish I had looked into that beforehand.)"

"We are a family of 7, and we needed a place to stay for one night in Brisbane. Airport Motel Brisbane had just the right setup for us. One room for our 5 kids, and one room for my wife and I. The rooms were clean and inviting, and good evidence of recent remodel. Location made it very convenient to walk to the City Cat ferry in order to explore Brisbane for the afternoon. Customer service allowed us to check in early with our airport luggage, which was super helpful."

"This accommodation was in a spectacularly convenient location for a GIG that I was attending this week. The Team on-site were incredibly helpful. I had a small issue when I got there with the fridge not working and it had tripped the breaker; the maintenance guy came and sorted it out and then replaced the mini fridge thing for me as well. All within 30 minutes. Amazing. He also offered tips to assist with making the most out of the aircon and the double-glazing which was also super helpful so I could get a good nights sleep afterward. The place was nice & clean and tidy with an exceptionally large sized bed. It was surprisingly quiet being right beside an active pub as well. Unless I was in the hallway, I couldn't hear a thing. I could hear my neighbours though...! Beautiful artwork through the building, and the hallways didn't smell awful either. They had cool little work nooks in the stairwells you could use if you wish and I think I saw some business suites on the 1st floor you could use for meetings. Not so amazing parts: There was clearly mould in some areas in bathroom areas.. they oddly have glass doors on the toilets?? that's strange. No ventilation in the bathroom to prevent the mould too. The air-conditioning was genuinely effective but it was clearly not well maintained as there was dust & mould forming around the vent and the roof section where the duct was, had starting bowing. Booking process via Trip.com - not great. The information provided by the website indicated they'd hold the amount of the booking but we had to pay the amount AT the hotel plus a deposit fee for incidentals...(on top of the amount they already took). That was actually not the case... I didn't have to give them anything at all except ID and verify my general details. When I got there, the nice man at reception told me I was all good to go and no extra fees or holds were required. All in all, a good stay. The place could use some extra love and attention to detail but for the price I paid? I'm not bothered."

"The room is big and can be cooked and eaten, suitable for families. There is also a small bed outside, with a sofa inside. The hotel’s proprietress is as friendly as everyone’s comment. I went to the hotel in the early hours of the morning and hit the phone number attached to the glass door. She came down and opened the door for me. There is no drop-off service in the morning, but it is very convenient. There is a button called taxi. Come soon!"

"Reception lady was so good and we arrived early so she asked us to leave our luggages in a store room and she explained everything in a professional manner .Room was spacious and near to airport and WiFi was working but 2 feedback I want to give please renovate bathroom and when I entered I can felt the sewerage smell comes from the toilet.I sprayed perfume and Room freshener but still strong odour came from toilet. And then sink hot water tap made so much noise so we used only hot water tap and we can gear all conversation from next room and it was noisy"

"The Kooii apartment hotel is nice. We stayed in the double bath and bed rooms. The room is tidy and clean. High cost effectiveness comparing to the traditional hotel in terms of room size, clothes washing and cooking by your own. The only problem is there are some pubs downstairs. It is quite noisy during the night of weekend. Highly recommended to all travellers who are going to spend few days in Brisbane."

"Basic but adequate for one night. Close to the airport. Long term car parking for $5 is good. First time staying in a motel where there is no reception staff and everything is completed online via email or AI. If you do need to speak with a real person you get someone in Manila but they are very efficient."

AAnonymous UserThe location is convenient if you are looking to stay away from the city center and avoid expensive public parking. A little noisy due to main traffic road but overall it's ok. While the hotel offers onsite parking, it is pricey at AUD 40 per night, and the carpark spaces are very narrow and limited. The room does not come with an amenity kit; however, a plus point is that it includes a refrigerator, a microwave, and some basic utensils, bowls, and plates. I appreciated the additional basin in the room.. while small, it was better than nothing. The bathroom basin is poorly designed it is nearly impossible to wash your face there without hitting your head on the faucet! The shower is fine, but the floor gets wet easily because there is no shower curtain to block the water from reaching the toilet area. Additionally, no toiletries are provided other than basic shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. The hotel does not have an in-house laundry service, but there is a laundromat located at the open-air carpark directly opposite the hotel. For dining, there is a McDonald's and KFC nearby, about a 5-minute walk away. Alternatively, you could drive over, as they provide their own parking. The breakfast is extremely basic, consisting only of bread, a toaster, fruit, and a machine for milk, coffee, and tea. The staffs were very friendly and makes you feel like home

LLast TouristLocation & amenities:  The location is the biggest asset of this nice independent hotel. It's near Toowong shopping center and the shops and restaurants that surround it, which include chemists & a 24 hour 7-11 convenience store. The hotel itself is home to the Katsuco Japanese restaurant on its ground floor- famous for its good Japanese food. There is free parking for guests, but the lots are limited (approximately 25 lots). There is free street parking along Sherwood road on the same side as the hotel. Hotel design, ambience, service:  The hotel lobby is cozy and compact, with a small seating area in front of the reception desk. Depending on the day of the week & time of day, the staff range from invisible to proactively polite & are generally nice. There is a lift to take you to your rooms over the three floors that it spans. Room design, comfort, acoustics: (deluxe King) The rooms are decently sized- with adequate room for luggage and sufficient points for charging. There is an ironing board, kettle, room safe, free tea bags, the usual soaps & conditioners and moisturizers provided. The bathrooms are well designed with a nifty smart/switchable/ dynamic glass looking into the bedroom. The shower head is a rain shower type - definitely giving it cred. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable indeed- standout & remarkable. There are blackout curtains which work well. As for the acoustics- overall decently quiet given the location at the corner of a busy crossroad. Noise from the corridor does seep in depending on your neighbors. There is also the usual mild hum & grumble from the bar fridge & whine from the air conditioner. The occasional street car cacophony can be heard during the day, but generally it's quiet at night. So a good night's sleep is mostly achievable. Overall: At the risk of making it more popular than it already is, this is a highly recommended property outside the city, with free parking. Will return if in the area!

GGuest UserThe lobby smells lovely, and the hotel is very clean. However, the facilities are a bit dated. It's very close to Story Bridge, making its location a real asset. It's suitable for a 2-night stay, but not ideal for an extended visit. Also, the soundproofing in each room is quite poor; I could hear the foreigners next door having a meeting at 6:30 AM (they're certainly hardworking and ambitious, I'll give them that...).

GGuest UserExcellent location! This apartment is superb, conveniently located near Queen Street and the Botanic Gardens, and within walking distance to South Bank. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with a washer and dryer, and a very well-appointed kitchen. They even provided two cleaning tabs for both dishwasher and hand washing (you can ask the front desk for more). A minor letdown was the absence of salt and pepper, which usually comes standard in self-catering apartments. Other minor issues were slow internet and significant limescale buildup in the kettle. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Contrary to some other reviews, there *is* a cleaning service; they do a light clean every 5 days, replenishing fresh towels, plastic bags, laundry sheets, and dishwashing tabs.

KKennyNZService: The front desk staff were very welcoming and tried their best to accommodate my needs. Environment: Located in Brisbane city center, King George Square is just across the street, and the pedestrian street is a bit further. It's about a 400-meter walk to Brisbane Central Station, and two blocks to the Queen Street Bus Station (it's underground, so you need to take stairs). Cleanliness: It was relatively clean, but the carpet was a bit dusty. Facilities: The elevators are a bit old but mostly functional. All the room's appliances work, and the central air conditioning is powerful.

GGuest UserIt was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site. Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in. Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in. Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think. I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist. Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!) I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house) So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one. Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit. We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have. If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

SStevie BBFirst time I've stayed here. I was aware of the mixed reviews & I've stayed at other hotels in Chermie but they were booked out on this occasion. It was raining heavily when I arrived so appreciated the undercover parking spaces immediately outside the reception. Check-in was seamless (thx Trip.com) & they didn't require a security deposit or CC scan so my customer trust box was ticked :-) The car park is secure & at ground level but spaces are limited; I was able to find a spot though at 4pm. There is public parking out on the street without restriction after 5pm. I had a Hotel Queen Room on the 2nd floor. Easy access via lift and the common areas were clean & well lit. The room and bathroom were clean with a pleasant aroma & no smell of mould (reported by others), air-con was on. I had a choice of two sliding doors to access the balcony so good for fresh air (but no insect screen). Overall, the room was comfortable whilst showing some signs of wear & tear. The shower had a choice of either hand-held or fixed head (rainforest type) & had plenty of pressure - great. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries, unless you're happy with generic multi-function liquid soap! The fridge was empty except for a small uht milk with no complimentary springwater or mini-bar that you might find in other hotels. There was TV, tea/coffee making supplies and a small microwave. If you like to sleep in complete darkness (like me), bring an eye-mask as the hallway lighting outside the room is bright & on all night, creating an aura around the front door that is hard not to notice. The area was relatively quiet with the hotel located on a side street. It's an easy & short walk to a major shopping centre and the bus station if you need to head into Briz City, which is a 20-30min ride away & only $0.50 fare - awesome. Breakfast (from 7am) was also included but I had to head-off early so wasn't able to grab a bite this time. In summary, I felt that the room rate was appropriate and score my overall experience as good.

GGuest UserI booked on the day we arrived as I needed accommodation close to Northshore Eat Street. Saw reviews about access issues so I called before booking and was advised access info is sent at 2pm. We had no problems with online booking and receiving access code. Room was good value for money with balcony, plenty of free parking and wifi. Would definitely book again if I need accommodation close to airport.
