This hotel offers free drink vouchers, and it's super convenient that they have laundry facilities. It's only $3 per wash, and laundry powder and drying are free, which is incredibly cheap. The hotel staff are also very friendly. The hotel's restaurant is right across the street, so it's just a short walk for meals! The whole place is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and they even provide T2 tea bags, which is a nice touch.

Information about checking in was sent to us via email a day before were were due. Staircase was narrow, so was quite difficult to bring large luggage up. Room looks wonderful and tastefully done. We had the suite, and as such, has an adjoining bedroom as well. The balcony was nice for a sit down to relax. Breakfast provided at the ground floor dining room as simple but sufficient for us. Bread toast, cereals, juicies, tea & coffee. We stayed 2 nights, The location is not far from Launceston main CBD. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, so was quite peacefull. Street parking in front of it is available, but parking charges takes effect from 9am, but did not impact us much as we are out.

King room with small balcony was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for an overnight stay. Free car parking was a bonus.  Concierge staff were very helpful and friendly. À la carte breakfast included in our room rate was excellent with free coffee and juices. Excellent value and highly recommended!

Had a lovely stay at Discovery Parks Hadspen. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and a clean, comfortable cabin. Quiet park with a handy onsite IGA and a great location just a short drive from Launceston. Good value for money and would happily stay again.

perfect location Location: Middle of Launceston CBD. Walk to Brisbane St Mall, restaurants, Seaport in 5min. Cataract Gorge is 15min walk Clean: Room was very clean with fresh linen and daily housekeeping Lift: Available and fast – crucial if you have heavy bags Quiet: Didn’t hear street noise despite being central Bed: Comfortable and good size Overall great value and location. Ideal if you want to walk everywhere. Stayed April 2026.

Splendid experience at the Gorge Deluxe Room. Very clean and spacious with a lovely view of the river and hills nearby.  Plenty of hiking routes available nearby which is ideal for those looking for a good walking experience.  For dog lovers, walking Archie (the silo dog) is also a great add-on!  First time for us walking a dog at a 5-star hotel.

We picked up the car at Launceston Airport and arrived at the hotel at almost 12 o'clock. Parking was very convenient, and the key was picked up in a small box. Check-in was very smooth, and the view outside the window was also nice when we woke up early.

Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's only a ten-minute walk to the bus stop. The room facilities are complete, clean, and spacious. There's a microwave, which is convenient for reheating food bought from the supermarket, a fridge, and self-service laundry machines. The view from the window is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

No signage at entrance/driveway Stained towels and bath mat  Not overly clean bathroom  Very out dated, but in saying that very cheap  We stayed for an early flight next morning,so it done the job if you are just looking for a quick stay
