"Got a good checked in and request amenities service is good. Staying for 5 days with my whole family. On the third day our bathroom flooded I don’t know what happened. They transfer as to a queen bed and a couch. Just accepted it as I do t want to deal with the incident overnight. Fully understand if no rooms available to accommodate us. But they did attended to our needs so far. But pretty much over all stay it was a ok. The hotel seems old but maybe preserving the looks of the hotel. Needs some upgrading."

"Only after checking in did we realize that most of the hotel rooms were under renovation. There was a strong smell of paint, and we barely saw any other guests during our stay. It didn't feel like we were in a hotel, yet the price wasn't cheap. The heating in the room was also problematic; it felt even colder when on, like cold air was blowing, which made us all catch colds. The front desk staff were very helpful though, providing extra blankets for each of us. Due to the renovations, we couldn't enjoy any of the hotel's facilities. On the bright side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views there are fantastic."

The fire alarm went off three mornings, whether it was weekends or weekdays, and each time it was around nine o'clock... The fire alarm lasted for 20 minutes, and the hotel did not have any explanation, just saying it was a false fire alarm. I don't believe that there could be three false fire alarms in six days? ? ? The hotel does not care about the rest and sleep of the customers at all. The time of each alarm was almost the same, and it went off every other day, as if it was intentional. In addition, I also found in Google reviews that the fire alarm went off frequently and lasted for a long time. So don't book this hotel if you can. The room is very small and not very quiet. The bar downstairs lasts until about two in the morning on weekends, which is extremely noisy. A deposit of 20 Canadian dollars is collected every night"

"I stayed at King's College, which is adjacent to Dalhousie University, where Lucy Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, studied. The historic building and campus are wonderful, and I'm glad I stayed here. The building and facilities are old, so there is no elevator and the toilets are shared on each floor, but they are clean. The room is spacious and has a mini kitchen, but no dishes or pots. There are towels, but no tissues. After checking in, I didn't know how to open the door, so I went to ask, but the two students at the reception desk were very kind and helpful. I had dinner at a Turkish restaurant nearby. The No. 1 bus stop was right next to it, so it was convenient to go to downtown."

"The hotel is in a great location opposite the Citadel and near restaurants, tourist attractions, the waterfront, etc. The room was very clean and spacious . The staff were helpful, polite, and friendly. I enjoyed the rooftop patio on Saturday night. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent location right at the core of the city. Close to all local attractions. The shared kitchen was especially amazing and the fully automated system made everything super easy. Clean and spacious room. Was a great stay and would highly recommend!"
