Very satisfied with the stay in Zurich with Locke, Milos was very welcoming and friendly. Room was spotless, huge and quiet. We had a good night sleep before our flight. If you have a car you had to pay for it and it cost 40CHF per night. Apparently that’s like a standard rate unless you manage to get the public one which is unlikely. There’s a lot cafes and restaurants nearby.

The staff is very friendly. We were a bit concerned about the shared toilet but it was so clean and not occupied at all. I went to so many times didn’t have the problem to wait someone else.

Every aspect of this hotel met my expectations - a perfectly located and value for money hotel, right in the heart of Zurich. i will definitely book Motel One in the future.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Zurich - very close to the central tram stops. The only issue we had was the stairs at the front, but an employee directed us to the back of the property and there were less stairs there. 👍🏼👍🏼 Lift was quite small but we managed. They have a wonderful restaurant on site with authentic meals - very nice.

The location of the border in the city center, but tram 13 is about 10-15 minutes. You can go out to Zurich Railway Station or take tram 5 for about 10 minutes to visit the ferry terminal of Lake Zurich. If you are not in a hurry, you can also take about half an hour to go out. There are different shops and restaurants along the road. Hotel isolation is also a medium-sized shopping mall in , there is also a large COOP supermarket, so you need to replenish daily necessities or buy handwritten letters (such as Swiss chocolate) can consider here 😌

The room is clean but it’s cramped, hard to move fast. The front desk staff in the morning particularly the guy is rude. We were a bit early for breakfast because they changed their time from 6:30 to 7am which we aligned for our day activity. When i asked if we can just sit inside while waiting for a few minutes before 7am, he answered me rudely saying “as i said..”, but when we came inside at 7:01am, there were already people eating there, 2 pairs i saw. This is rude because we were pressed for time as we have to catch up the tour bus and we paid for the breakfast knowing the time is 6:30am but they changed it the night before and they let other people in while we just requested to be seated inside while waiting for 7am. Most of their staff are rude. Only the guy at the breakfast checkin is nice.

It’s less than 30 dollars by taxi from the train station. It’s a 20-minute walk from Bahnhofstrasse and Zurich Cathedral. The room is quite large and very clean. There isn’t much for breakfast. The front desk staff is very welcoming. The only bad thing is that I’m already on the platform. After paying the room fee in full, I was deducted 160 euros. Later, I asked the platform and they said it would take 30 working days to refund. I don’t understand why this is the case?

A wonderful hotel in Zurich with an excellent location, just a short walk from the main railway station, central markets, and key city attractions. The service quality is outstanding, with very attentive staff and a high level of customer loyalty, making you feel truly welcome from the very first moment. I will definitely stay here again. I also highly recommend paying attention to the pavilion located next to the hotel, where they prepare exceptional risotto — a true gastronomic delight.

Helvetia Hotel exceeded my expectations, offering a much better experience than suggested by the photos on the booking site. The place is impeccably clean—even the shower screen was nearly spotless. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest. The bathroom was brightly lit and generous in size, with shampoo, soap and body lotion in different glass bottles. I particularly appreciated the cozy common room near the lobby, where guests enjoy a cup of Nespresso or tea, courtesy of the hotel. The location is convenient, with a large supermarket just a one-minute walk away and at least two cafes within walking distance. However, it’s about a 15-minute walk from the main station, which might be a consideration for some travelers. Overall, it’s a solid choice, and I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Zurich.
