Hotels near Atangge Hot Spring, New Taipei City

Four of us stayed in two rooms. The public hot spring area was incredibly clean and beautiful. The overall hygiene, both in the rooms and the public hot spring, was excellent. The front desk staff were very thoughtful. We missed the complimentary beer, flower tea, and snacks available from 2 PM to 5 PM on check-in day because we were out. The front desk staff kindly collected the snacks and flower tea for us and stored them in the service counter's fridge. When we returned to the hotel at 7 PM, they brought everything up to our rooms. This meant we had flower tea and snacks to enjoy after our hot spring dip around 8 PM. There were already crisp apples in the room when we checked in. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. All four of us were extremely satisfied with the room amenities, including the beds and pillows. Our room booking included breakfast. Since there were four of us, they arranged for two Western and two Chinese breakfasts. Breakfast was a delightful surprise! The portions were generous and hearty. We also discovered that the buffet breakfast bar was available at the same time, offering a wide variety of food. The watermelon was delicious and very sweet. The Western breakfast included poached eggs, which were cooked perfectly – the chef really knew their stuff. We'll definitely visit Wulai again!

I stayed here for one night on December 4th. The room was spacious, and the private bath was large enough for two people, plus there was a separate shower room. The heating worked well, and instead of just bed sheets, there was a proper futon. The fridge was stocked with complimentary water and Pocari Sweat. The public bath was also spacious, featuring a sauna and a jet bath, and there was a water dispenser inside the bathing area. You could step out onto a river-facing terrace from the bath, complete with chairs. It was incredibly relaxing to lie on the terrace after a hot soak. Breakfast was served in a style resembling a Japanese bento box, accompanied by congee, bread, Yakult, and a paper cup of apple juice. I enjoyed it thoroughly on the pleasant river-facing terrace. Although there's no dinner restaurant at the hotel, there are several great restaurants very close by, and I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order! They were delicious. The hotel is a bit away from the old town, but it's quiet, has a nice river view, feels cozy, and the staff were wonderfully laid-back. I had a very relaxing time enjoying the hot springs. The only minor drawback was that the public bath opened at 8 AM and breakfast started at 8:30 AM, which felt a bit late. I wished they opened an hour earlier! Thank you!

This was our first time in Wulai. Our group of six booked a family room and a deluxe double room, and everyone was extremely satisfied. The entire guesthouse was comfortable and relaxing; the rooms were very clean, and the children were thrilled to see the indoor hot spring pool. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the guesthouse cat, Qiuqiu, was adorable and affectionate. Thank you for the hospitality! We look forward to returning next time we have a holiday.

The service is excellent, and the waiter and waitress aunties are very friendly. The room has a private onsen, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The location is a bit far from other restaurants, so it’s more recommended for guests who prefer to relax and spend most of their time inside the hotel. Overall, highly recommended for all types of guests!

I happened to meet the young owner during breakfast. I saw the two books he and his son created, which were very interesting. We chatted for a while, and I learned about the story behind the B&B's establishment. It's great that they opened during the pandemic and managed to pull through! I hope he can realize all his ideas here, offering even more experiences to guests! The housekeeper who served us was very kind and enthusiastic, a big thank you to her!

While the interior decor is a bit dated, it's kept clean, and the stay wasn't uncomfortable. The most commendable feature is their ”Beauty Bath” hot spring; after soaking, I felt completely relaxed and refreshed, with noticeably smoother skin – truly therapeutic. Parking is convenient, so there's no need to worry about finding a spot. Wu Lai is a very small town and filled with hot spring. In term of location, Tai chi Inn is a little inaccessible and facilities very basic. The owners are a old couple and they are nice. Other than that, I do not see why the room is worth the price I paid. I think if you are coming during non peak, you can walk in any inn and get a much cheaper price.

Good stay with good view ! Dinner was a surprise that i thought only included breakfast!

A very enjoyable experience. Weather has not been good but it has not affected our holidays at all. The tranquility and peacefulness of the hotel and nearby areas were impeccable. The selection of reading materials in every corner of the hotel was impressive. I had my breakfast in the quiet cafe and the random choice of the book redeveloped my interests in reading. Food and service in the chinese restaurant were of high standards. Relaxing in the onsens were most soothing. Will be back again.
